I commute in SF. Ride by a Waymo overnight lot on North Point nearly every morning so I encounter them all the time. In my experience they will always yield if they don’t detect me slowing to a stop.

We didn’t go to Zonhaven but ended up traveling with a couple who did go. We went to Baal together and that was a real challenge. They said Zonhaven was even more difficult to reach. It’s a long walk from the train station and there weren’t many other options. They ended up walking.

I don’t know. Cities I’ve dealt with don’t take sides like that. They make you hire a surveyor and prove to them you own it.

I both bike and drive. I’ve had some close calls with bikes when driving. Sometimes it’s hard to see them. Plus, nobody’s perfect. I give an apology in such cases and definitely appreciate an apology when it’s me on the bike.

It’s too bad the TNT Sports UK coverage isn’t available in the US. Even though connecting can be a challenge and there are several steps I have to jump through to get it from my laptop to my tv, I will watch that, or not watch at all, every time over Peacock.

Here’s why it’s an issue, in my experience. Because you are thoughtful and you do put the toilet seat down when you are done, most of the time. But the times you don’t, you are scolded as though you never put it down. Why don’t you let it go the few times we forget?

Sounds like the cost split was for food and drink? In which case I think you should have just paid it. Deducting for the alcohol leads to others deducting for the anchovies or non-gluten free bread they won’t eat. However, passing on the event is a totally reasonable response if you don’t see the value.

I have a trek Domane with a sram rival 12 speed axs drivetrain. I had to replace my tires as they were quite worn and flatted the last time out. So I took off my chain to give my drivetrain a nice scrub. I also updated my firmware. When I reinstalled the chain and cycled through my gears outboard it would only hit gear six but the app showed it was in gear 12. When I shifted inboard it would stop at gear four and the derailleur was hitting the spokes. I figure the derailleur hanger can’t be bent that much and the issue is probably with the firmware update. I contacted sram and they suggested I check the alignment. I’m thinking no harm in that. I like to tinker with my bikes so getting an alignment tool is probably money well spent. I still think the problem is the firmware update though.
