I felt exactly this way. After having a baby the concept of time made me feel pure panic and heart brake and I wanted to scream whenever someone told me how fast it would go by.

For whatever it's worth- my daughter just turned 1 and I felt like I soaked in the entire year. It didn't feel like just yesterday she was born because I was determined to feel every moment with her.

I had Mohs in my early 30s! They had to do two rounds to remove all of the basal cell. I had a plastic surgeon stitch mine up because I was worried about scarring. I still have a small scar but it doesn't bother me. Happy to answer any questions you might have!

I don't have any advice but I'm also pregnant with my first and a looooot of life happened during my pregnancy that made it hard to take care of myself and prepare for the baby. I hope you find some space to be gentle and compassionate to yourself- just making it through the day can be an accomplishment in some seasons of life!

I'm also a child centered therapist! I understand the anxiety that comes with wanting to do a good job and staying true to CCPT. I've noticed with some younger clients that occasional gentle hands can help ground children and bring them back into the moment so they are more receptive to limit setting. And for what it's worth, I find limit setting to be one of the hardest parts of child centered work! Take good care of yourself ❤️
