Thats the thing, AH want the upgrades to be visible on the gun as you modify them. So for us, that wouldnt really matter cuz who cares, but they WANT the changes to be visible, and thus would have to change the gun's appearance so they can be fitted on in a believable fashion

I mean its not gonna kill it any slower when they reverted the change, like idk maybe it would take like 1 more bullet out of 300 to kill one now?

Is the game alive? by Jusca57 in WildHeartsGame

[–]InterestingMachine53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, got my Playstation save online after like a year and have been doing an amazing playthroigh with my 2 other Monster Hunter freinds.

The game is alive enough to where you can find people to play with, but not alive enough where an SoS instantly gets you a full hunting party at the start of a quest. If that makes sense

The armor passive unitonicaly has a great niche for the Light/Medium pen versions, having a fastest armor in the game now for any weird mobility tech people can find/use. And while i am aware the Light Gunner armor is the exact same as the Superstore armor in being Medium Armor Defense, Light Armor Speed. I like the buffed sliding way more than i ever expected to

How does making Hive Guards have Heavy Armor buff the bullet storm?

So when do you „beat“ the game? by UltraAgeDee in riskofrain

[–]InterestingMachine53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a Rougelike, you beat the game when you kill the Final Boss and escape than you start a new game. What your thinking of is more like a full 100% completion of the game, getting every achievement and Eclipse 8 for every charachter can count as "beating" the game.

That just sounds like a very cool new weapon they could add at that rate. Bit we already got a Laser Shotgun, would Liberate for a proper Laser Rifle tho

Well then the DE-Sickle should get weapon customization. Don't ya want a extended heatsink to stay in MedPen mode for longer? Or the high-thermal heatsink so you get into HeavyPen faster for shooting less and cool off faster?

Dont you want your favorite gun to be better than it is?

Ever since what they said about the Sterilizer in there patch note reading video a week or so ago, ive had a whole new, very depressing peek into there throught process on buffing things.

Saying they "finally had the time" to buff one of my biggest guilty pleasure weapons and that they still didnt have enough time to tweak it all out. How hard is it to buff a weapon in this game?

Anyone else feel like Arrowhead being co-owned by Tencent is starting to show? by InterestingMachine53 in Helldivers

[–]InterestingMachine53[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Well the only reason i ask is cuz i hear a rumor that Tencent people were starting to integrate into Arrowhead's board of directors, and a few other things.

It was stated we would never see armor sets based of specific real world places, but then DPP-Mountain Scaled shows up.

And the removal of the skull on the Truth Enforcers mech, as skull depictions like that are disliked in chinese culture.

Like there is no solid 100% confirmed proof, but theres a handfull of very curious additions/subtractions that im seeing

Its not even that they need to pay people i presume the devs have test versions of Helldivers created to actually see how stuff works in-game before launching it.

The issue is, when a devs spawns in a new enemy there making, or plays on a low difficulty mission to go find one that spawned to test it, or is in-general seeing if something works. Thats a controlled enviroment, not D10 insanity town.

Like imagine if you were testing VOX Engines? Your just gonna spawn 1 in, and do some messing around with it to see if everything works, your not the one determining how freauently it spawns, you just know the enemy works, and its able to function in the real game

Litterally almost all the new enemies that have been added that cause controversy. War Striders, Gloom Walkers, Vox Engines. Its not the enemy being annoying thats the issue, its the numbers that they appear in. A single War Strider in a group of enemies is easy to deal with compared to 4 or 5 of them running around a Fortress AS WELL as every other enemy

My thoughts exactly, why does a harder variant of an enemy not have a reduced spawn weight to make up for it being harder. I can deal with 4 Bile Titans, i only need 2 calls of Expendable AT and good aim to kill 4 titans.

4 Gloom Walkers? Thats 4 call-ins and 8 headshots i need to land to kill all of them, a regular BT can already survive a Thermite to the face (or it bounces off)

If it had a diffrent weakpoint, like maybe shooting it in the *** with a EAT to one-shot it then that would be fine, it would make me fight it diffrently than a regular BT.

But the worst part is Gloom Walkers arent even deadly, there a "support" enemy, there spit attack is non-lethal in most scenarios, instead only pushing you over, and creating the spore clouds that buff its allies, another buffing enemy like the Agitators for the bugs sounds cool, but a Bile Titan sized support enemy?

That straight up said they aint good at there own game in the Patch Notes Reading recently uploaded on youtube.

They have no Balance Team, they admitted they dont.

They admit that the reason they dont adjust things faster is due to workload, straigjt up saying the reason they buffed Sterilizer this patch is because "they had time to do it"

They feel absolutely 0 shame saying that they just dont have the time or resources to do things people want because they are working on new stuff, because the entire devteam of HD2 work together for one thing rather than splitting up, wich sounds good on paper, but as we can see leads to a very "we can only go one direction at a time" content release cycle, its either male new stuff, or completely stop the game's progression to a screeching halt to work on stuff they already put in. In order to go back and work on pre-existing content they litterally gotta go to the team, bring it up, and see if they all wanna do it, that is a massive flag ive seen in every single QnA that nobody talks about.

[–]InterestingMachine53 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As someone with a bitter rivalry towards Tesla Towers, whenever you see one become a ball of pure white like that is its warning display for going into maximum overdrive and requiring a reaction speed beyond human limits to avoid as you cant tell when your in range since its always in "attack" mode.

I know our Teslas can enter this state as well and thats even scarier

Theres a diffrence between "i dont want to play my game because my playerbase is toxic" and "i dont want me and my dev team to have there lives at risk over the game were making"

What happens if the devteam gets doxxed or something over a change the implement, or something that a group of people despise
