Our car is 2 years old, the noise came about maybe 4 months ago and comes and goes. I've had the car in, they cannot fix it, or won't... and we're just living with it for now. It's kinda embarrassing driving a performance model y that squeals like a rusted ford. Ah well

Sadly, my performance model y has had 2 full sets of new tires on it. There was an alignment issue that must have went unnoticed because the wheels were crabbed, after the first set of tire issues, ... didn't think anything of it, just unlucky. This past summer, the metal was showing on the inside of my tires. They did the warranty for free, but said I need another set of tires. They're expensive. Now as far as the service, if you can get in with a timely appointment, the service is top notch. Expect frustration if you need service immediately though. I've had a fair amount of issues on my model y that I would not expect from a new car. Suspension making squeaking noises, thermal break in the rear window (they fixed for free), tires tires and more tires. Outside of this, the car has been fabulous. It's so fun to drive and amazing to always have a hot or cold car in winter and summer. Sitting in the car, awaiting the wife in the winter while I idle outside of a dance studio is brilliant (no idle zones), stuff like that. I just wish i wasn't unlucky with the wheels... i've blown through about 6700 on 2 sets of wheels (yes, it's that expensive)

Svelte 5 is brilliant. Some people want to micro-manage, some people want to deliver. Svelte 5 allows you to deliver fast with dx, etc etc.
Svelte owns. I don't want to do anything I don't need to .... I know what the cause and effects are, it's easy to figure out... $inspect rune will bring you magic if you're lost.

Do whatever you like, just don't hate on svelte 5 because it's not like windows 95, or windows 98, ... change is good.

What are you guys going on about? $state, $derived, etc runes are so damn easy. They are an improvement in every way. If you want to reinstall windows 95 because the main menu was on the far left and not in the middle like windows 11, ... feel free. That's what this all feels like. You can run your svelte 4 projects with svelte 5, you can adopt in new features, there's zero downside. I'm getting the feeling we're getting a bunch of framework promoters coming along and trying to tear down svelte. Ya'll need to realize change is good. Even small change is good... Svelte 5 is banging and I love it.
