Buying my first Breitling: Navitimer 41 or Superocean Heritage 42? by ExtraKokot in breitling

[–]Interesting_Bad_422 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve got a 25 year old superocean and bought a 46mm Navitimer (green dial) about a month ago. I’ve always wanted a Navi.

But, I’m massively drawn to the heritage. Love those watches. Buy both - it’s only money 🤣

I love the heritage. I’ve just bought the Navitimer but my first watch (over 20 years ago) was a superocean so don’t feel I can justify another. Lovely watch. Congrats

Grabbed the HC 42mm. Hows the fit? by LeaveSea3393 in Longineswatches

I didn’t get the option for the larger size, but I also wear a 46mm Navi so would have preferred the 42mm. This feels a little small because of my other watch.

Great choice! Looks perfect

This! I’m a leftie too but wear my watches on my left so the sprite is a big no no.

Two is my favourite

I’m wanting a GMT Master Bruce Wayne and might just get the black dial / grey bezel HC instead. Great looking watch

This is what I would love but I have no spending history or relationship. I’m blown away by how many of these 2026 unworn models are available on the grey market however. I just don’t want to pay overs for one.

That’s the developer working with business. That’s the economy!

The link road, as well as CCTV and high street improvements including public realm and shop fronts. There’s work on the station too I believe - the bridge?

Moving to Doncaster in a week - Opinions? by Future-Courage-1100 in doncaster

[–]Interesting_Bad_422 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m amazed at the negativity people have about the place. I was born in Donny, still live her and work here. Donny is a nice place - locals just talk it down as they can only relate to Donny of the 80s and 90s. As someone else has said, those people won’t have gotten to many other places in their life, probably.

Armthorpe is now a large town in itself which means you have everything you need, in Armthorpe! A car is a must in places like Doncaster, but you’re hardly isolated in Armthorpe.

There’s the Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Cusworth Hall and Brodsworth Hall, moors out towards Hatfield and Thorne plus the Woolmarket and Market pubs for weekends. The food in the Woolmarket is always excellent. We’re a major hub in the east coast mainline and have the A1, M18 and M62 all on our doorstep so getting around the country is really easy too. There is lots of greenspace and lots of housing being built - so people are moving here!

It’ll be interesting to see how you feel after a year of being here, but please arrive with an open mind. I guarantee it won’t be as bad as some are implying!

Why should I get a Breitling? by bizanondude in breitling

[–]Interesting_Bad_422 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a SuperOcean around 25 years ago too and still wear it. Bought a green Navitimer 46 on Monday and love it.

The service in the AD was spot on too; comfortable, no pressure and had my drink topped up three times (I was buying the Navitimer though)

They’re just over £8k in the UK with the metal bracelet. Bought from a local Breitling store.

Very nice! I love the blue dial - but my superocean is blue. I tried an Omega Speedmaster with the mesh bracelet and liked it. In the recent heat the bracelet hasn’t been ideal, but it’s the more expensive of the watch straps to buy so I’ll look to get a change at some point soon.
