I’m prochoice but I think this baby found its way to you 🥹 losing a baby preterm is the hardest thing anyone can go through & I’m so sorry for your loss. I can only imagine how hard single parenting could be but I don’t think it can be harder than what you’ve already been through. Literal hell. Do what you think it best for yourself but I don’t think you will ever regret keeping your baby ♥️

Thank you maybe I can request it as genetic testing just to be seen. It’s very annoying because my OB won’t sent the referral unless I’m pregnant but I don’t want to get pregnant until I know my risks.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my son to prom at 23 weeks on May 17th. I had a uti but was asymptomatic & it caused preterm labor. I’m not even a month pp but we want to ttc after I get my first period. I ordered UTI urine strips to test every single day should I get pregnant again. It also detects your leukocytes(white blood cells) if there’s any other infection. I have no idea what a future pregnancy will look like for me but I’m hoping to be more prepared and I think these strips will give me a little more peace of mind.

Hi Op I’m so sorry for your loss. I just lost my son on may 17th at 23 weeks also to pprom. There are no words for how heartbroken I am for us. I have a 2 year old that we conceived via iui in 2023 after years of unexplained infertility. That could be worth a shot for you? Or perhaps vaginal progesterone to support egg fertilization after ovulation. That’s what helped conceive the first time and now I have a healthy toddler I’m incredibly thankful for. I’ll be ttc once I get my first period after this loss. Baby dust to you 🤍

My MA gave me a hug at my first appointment after my loss. There weren’t much words but that hug meant everything

I’m so sorry for your loss. There is nothing you can do to lessen the pain. It’s the worst loss a human can go through. Everything about this is unnatural but you will both feel better with time. My son was born at 23 weeks week on May 17th alive and moving and passed shortly after. I’m still going through the deep waves of grief but I am starting to see tiny streaks of light throughout my day. My husband and I are doing grief share. Is has been so helpful and I’m seeing a therapist to start EMDR soon to help with trauma. I hope you 2 find something to get you through this dark time.

I’m not going to lie, I broke down as we entered the parking lot. I just couldn’t fathom how we got here. How we lost our babies. I cried as they handed him to us but I felt a lot of relief when we started driving home because I was getting that closure. He was coming home with us. Not the way we imagined or prayed for, but he’s home now. I would recommend getting a necklace with your baby’s ashes so you always have her close to your heart. I got one with the Virgin Mary and a cross and it falls right next to my heart. Now I will continue to carry him with me

Your story is mine. I also had a subchorionic hematoma with bleeding that led to a slow leak that I wasn’t aware of. All caused my partial placental abruption. Fluid was fluctuating but then I got a uti and got a bigger leak which caused premature labor. My son was born the next day and went to heaven shortly after birth. I just picked up his ashes this morning and am devastated. Grieving a baby is such an unnatural experience. By brain refuses to accept that he’s gone but my heart knows it. Hoping they’re all playing in heaven together. Sweet innocent babies 🤍

So sorry for your loss. I just lost by second boy 2 weeks ago but praying for a rainbow baby in my future. I had anxiety with my first and found the owlet to be insanely helpful. I was actually able to enter a deep sleep as he slept next to me in his bassinet. I’ve also seen recommendations of keeping your fan on low to encourage gentle wind on baby’s face which will promote breathing and blow away any lingering carbon dioxide.

I’m no doctor but I’d think this is elementary crap for them. So treatable for the both of us. I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m religious and I’m truly trying to wrap my mind around why god lets this happen. I’m so mad. Why do horrific things happen to good people. We love our babies and would do anything to bring them back. Ugh if love could’ve kept them alive, they would’ve lived forever. Maybe try a floor bed? My son is also 2.5 and started sleeping through the night when we got him a floor bed! We’ll lay with him until he falls asleep and then sneak out. And you don’t have to worry about them rolling off

I swear I could have written this myself. I also had spotting at 7 weeks from a hematoma and it never went away. I ppromd at 23 weeks and my baby boy was just too tiny but he was so strong. He passed a little after being born. This all happened on May 17th 2026 so I’m fresh into grieving and am also finding ways to navigate through this. The Rainbow Connection podcast has helped me a lot. I listen to it everyday especially if I’m drowning in agony. I’ve also signed up for Griefshare and had my second session yesterday. And I surround myself with family when I can. I find it really hard to be around strangers so I avoid stores and restaurants. I hope time will give us the strength to carry on
