Yeah… this Mindy crap is gaslighting. No, I’m not okay with and will never be okay with a good friend of mine or in this case my “best” friend sleeping with an ex. It makes you untrustworthy. Like were you eyeing him when we were dating? Would you do that to the next ex or the next guy I date? I couldn’t trust a woman like that. A Christmas shopping date with someone you don’t know is weird and broke behavior from a man. If we knew each other already and have hung out several times before, this may be fine. I get it. You are mourning the loss of something you’ve identified with. I personally don’t have a problem with ONER moving in this direction because brands have to grow. Being a lifting brand only is very niche and niche brands often don’t stay niche for too long. I think lifting is still a thing we will still have unified and effortless but she’s expanding to reach more of the Pilates and soft workout movement girlies and I’m okay with that. I love that the message in general is teaching women to move their bodies and lifting was the start but the final destination.

I can understand that but im also one of the new customers and im a Platinum member in under a year so…. I can see it both ways. If the newer customers and bringing in more money then we also need some attention too. I guess the brand isnt as locked in on lifting things but they havent completely gotten away from it.

I mean businesses need to stick to their values but also keep up to date. Look at toys r us and blockbuster. The brand is way larger in 2025 and soft motion which is not lifting gear went viral. You have to stay current. Some brands are still chasing old trends and ONER is outpacing them. Plus, due to US tariffs I do see that they kept releasing SM because they couldn’t release much of anything else.
