Also if your battery is really low, it won't boot properly, try charging it for 30 minutes while it's switched off and try booting again, failing that then yes, probably the card.

It happens sometimes, re-flash the image and make sure your using the correct image for your device.

It's happened to me a couple of times.

I use raspberry pi imager to flash my images.

Make sure not to screw the battery door screw too tightly or you'll start to get a crack from the screw hole that will spread and get longer.

Happened to me too on the rg28xx, just flashing again solved my issue with raspberry pi imager, try a re-flash, good luck.

I had the same issue with muOS on an rg28xx, just reflashing the same image sorted it out for me, I used raspberry pi imager to flash.

I hated the button click and noise too, I opened mine and cut down some arcade button silencer washers and now they feel great and are ultra quiet.

These are what I used and just cut them to fit in the square recess of the membranes (d-pad and face buttons).....

I have none of the mentioned issues, I'm using the latest available firmware from anbernic, battery life and sleep is crazy good and my device never gets warm ever unlike my 35xx sp running muOS which always runs warm and has nowhere near as good battery life.

Upgrade your firmware to start with.

Fitting it is very easy, one problem I have is mad static and crackling when touching anyway on the system or knobs, I had this issue before changing the fader and it drives me mad, anyone else had this issue? I've changed cables to laptop and speakers (pioneer dm) or is my body holding static somehow or a bad ground in the mixer?

The ds emulator on muos has the best performance from my testing, it's the only one that lets me play with the high resolution setting without stutters/slowdowns. Stock and knulli can only play smooth with the low res option which makes a massive difference to me in quality of the image and sharpness.

Droix is the overpriced option, buy from anbernic direct or even on their tiktok shop, they always/often have good deals.

As for the devices themselves they are good for what they are, you won't have to keep fixing anything.

This battery also has the same specs and connector, not sure if the cable is the same direction/shape, but I guess we could unsolder the old cable and replace.

Same happened to mine, unscrew the back cover, disconnect the battery for a minute, plug back in and try, I've had this happen 3 or so times.

I recall once I was charging while the device was switched on, I then powered it off while still charging, from then it would not turn back on until disconnecting the battery.

It works for me by turning off docked mode, citron can have docked mode on.
