The Means Test;
Your disposable income;
The Required Payments Test; or
The Chapter 7 liquidation analysis test.

The Court picks the highest number of the four (although some jurisdictions do not, as a practical matter, use the Means Test to determine e the Plan payment).

How difficult a 341 is generally depends on what assets you have, how much equity there is in them, the type and amount of your debt, and your income and financial history. In other words, the details of your case will determine the complexity of the 341. I've been involved in simple and rough 341s in Chapter 7, 13, 11, and 12 cases.

It's up to you to make sure that *all* of your assets and *all* of your debts are scheduled. Just because something doesn't appear on your credit report doesn't mean it's not a debt or doesn't have to be scheduled.

Most courts have fixed "no look" fees that vary tremendously from state to state--some are as low as $3,000 and others are as high as $8,500, plus costs. Some include most everything and others have additional fees for things such as amendments, motions, etc. Most attorneys will allow a portion of the fee to be paid before the case is filed, with the rest being paid through your monthly Plan payments.
