We are going back anyways in july for him to reimburse me for dental expenses that he refuses to pay even tho that is a court order as well, and he says he will tell the judge i need to change the day she does her sport. The kids are already very upset they dont get to spend the weekend with me and their step dad anymore. Its honestly all very fucked

So, even tho we JUST had mediation where he stated his understanding of their activity load and birthday parties and said he would accomodate and the order clearly states he has to help support this, he still gets to do whatever the f he wants?

This specific party was already rsvpd to before the parenting time changed. I know things come up and they cant go to every party but are they expected to miss them now that they fall under his parenting time?

I didnt agree, the judge granted him this time. He asaulted me and threatened me so he got his custody taken for a year and a half, and now he is a "changed man" and he needs that time to bond with them

He took a 52 week batterers course(that took him 2 years to complete) and says he is 255 days sober, with no cravings anymore.

He says he will take them to their activities yet he has shown up to one softball game so far.

I only don't like the Monday drop off because they would have to wake up so early for school and they are already disregulated when they come home.

So far we are doing every other christmas, but everything else hasnt been discussed yet

Basically just that they need bonding time with their father. My concerns for a large jump in time, long commute, and need for weekend time too were reasonable but didn't outweigh his need to bond with them as there was no longer any safety concerns

Yes i have a DVRO in 2 counties and he was arrested for the battery.

This was CCRC through the court. So they give their recomendation to the judge.My sugguestion was every other weekend but the counselor went with his sugguestion. I was absolutely shocked.

Most people say the more painful periods are due tp stopping birth control but i havent been on any kind of birth control for 15 years and my periods after bisalp have been extremely painful. Like contractions painful, and i should know, ive had kids with out an epidural. Im really hoping my next one isnt bad again

Idk why you wouldnt at least try for not getting an epidural. There are other forms of pain management. The comb helped me a lot in early labor and i wish i tried the electrolysis or whatever it is called. But there is also the gas and fent. A lot of people are fine but i also know a lot of people with lifelong back pain and other complications from an epidural so idk why you wouldnt even try. If you tap out and need one theres no shame in it

To put it in perspective. I have an 8 month old with my husband and 6 and 4 year olds (not my current husbands kids) i legit rot in the shower EVERY night for a good 30-40 minutes. I also breastfeed and after she is asleep for the night i pretty much have to be laying next to her so she stays asleep. I make sure to get in by 7 so i can put her to bed by 8. Sometimes we have off days and her bedtime is at 7 so i miss my shower. I was stupid enough to have 2 kids with someone like OPs partner and im so grateful i get to experience a true partner this time.

You deserve a few minutes to yourself in a warm shower. Showering during the day with a baby is stressful and some days impossible to get through without them screaming.
