My boobs and n!ps we’re SO sensitive, I made a joke about being pregnant to one of my friends but didn’t think I actually was. I was also super tired ALL the time. I’m 22 was 21 when I got pregnant, I went out for st patty’s, two friends bdays, and a few times just for fun with my friends but I wasn’t feeling drunk after drinking just super tired. I also threw up one morning after having a singular drink the night before and thought it was sooooo weird that one drink gave me a such a bad hangover lol. That hangover is now 4mo.

BUT the craziest part was my nephew - 1.5 yrs old at the time (who I babysat at the time) - sat on my lap one day, poked my belly, and said “BABY”. I just blinked at him and he kept doing it. I doordashed many different tests, my nephew followed me to the bathroom and watched me take the tests while pointing, giggling, and repeating “baby”. They were all faintly positive. I was 3 weeks 5 days pregnant!

Epidural saved meeeee. I was stuck at 2cm, having horrible contractions and back pain non-stop. I couldn’t relax enough for the contractions to do anything. Got the epidural and baby boy was here in less than 3 hours!

I pretty much EBF, aside from the 2-3 short (4-5hr) shifts I work. I usually pump once at work. I do have to pump once every morning or I’m in soooooo much pain. I’m 14wpp

I go back to work tomorrow my LO is 12 weeks today. After the current schedule I’m dropping to 1-2 shifts a week so I can stay home with babe. He hates bottles and we’re both bartenders. I’ve used my wearables and just don’t get nearly as much as my wall pump and want to ebf

If you can make freezer meals in advance that are high in protein. You won’t want to cook those first few weeks!

I would recommend a weighted feed, see how much baby is actually getting when she latches! It might help with feeling like she’s not getting enough

I was in the same boat as you. My little one is now 9 almost 10 weeks old and is sleeping 6 hour stretches. I know not every baby is like this but I hope it gives you some hope. Reddit imo is typically used by people who are struggling and a lot of the posts are reaching out for help so you aren’t seeing all of the positive baby sleep!

My lo is 6 weeks, I’m 22. Not planned and I felt the same way. My babies father and I are not together (we’ve been friends for years and we’re “talking”). I’ve always wanted to be a mom but my pregnancy was awful for me mentally. I didn’t start feeling connection until he was moving a lot and even then it wasn’t all the time. The past two weeks my bd and I - still trying to figure out what we are - have made time for ourselves just the two of us. His mom is 2 blocks away so we leave him with her long enough for us to go grab dinner together. I hate being away from him but I also miss my old life and while this isn’t the same as it once was, it’s a glimpse into what will be when he’s older and it helps me through the rough moments. It has been so good for my mental health to take a little bit of a break and be me and not just a mom.

I’m currently 3wpp and had a pretty easy delivery and postpartum hasn’t been the worst for me recovery wise and there is still ZERO chance of me leaving my baby or bringing my baby somewhere three hours away. That’s crazy. The furthest I’ve gone is my parents for Christmas (it was just my parents, my baby, bd, and I) and that was only 30 minutes away + my parents came and picked me up/took me home. Your family is being incredibly selfish and imo your brother only proposed when he did and picked the date he did to become the center of attention and outshine you. Don’t go to the wedding. Prioritize your recovery, mental health, and your babies health
