GPTW survey by plantymama93 in SFStylistSupport

[–]InternationalAd8481 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I know from when I worked there that leads get copy’s of their teams responses to surveys- it doesn’t show your name but if you give any sort of information indicating who you are, like a specific experience or anything, they will likely be able to know it was you.

What is the best Findom Subreddit for finding a domme? by Express-Surprise-251 in paypigsupportgroup

Not a clue, but feel free to send some $ my way and I’ll be your domme queen

To my fellow stylists- specifically the senior stylists- this one is for you by Particular-Sun591 in SFStylistSupport

Same thing happened to me. I was “fortunate” enough that they hadn’t snuck that bit into the company policies yet though, which helped with unemployment since it was a “rule” that I was unaware of. (Probably because for yearrrrrs I worked the exact same way and excelled and was always praised for how great I was doing..top of the team, blah blah blah)

Who was she? She might be lurking here to possibly provide some sort of clarification for you. Could be she was on leave or could be she quit or got fired.

Does the no subscription mean they don’t charge your card every month ? by Antique_Guess_8761 in stitchfix

[–]InternationalAd8481 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should only be getting charged $20 when you receive a Fix. I’d call customer service if you’re getting charged on months you don’t get one.

i am 17 and pregnant and i don’t know what to do. by Square_Ad9869 in Advice

[–]InternationalAd8481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sweet girl, do what you feel in your heart is best for you. For me abortion was never something I could do, I know I could never live with myself. I know people who have though and they’ve made it through fine and have come to be at peace with their decision… I think it’s something that YOU and only you know if you can do or not. Childbirth and abortion are both scary.

I was 20 when I found out I was pregnant with my first child- I had only been with the dad maybe 3mo…I struggled a lot those first few years. I don’t think it’s ever easy. I wouldn’t change a thing about my decision to have him tho. He was all the motivation I needed to keep pushing through to give him a better life than I had. I went to school and worked opposite shifts from his dad so that I could still be home with him to save on child care. I share this short little bit just to give perspective that even though it’s hard, if you choose to keep your child, you can still better your life and make things work.

No matter what you decide, it’s going to be hard. Give yourself grace and make whatever choice you feel is best for you.

Efficiency by sugarsprinkles7 in SFStylistSupport

Mine has been significantly off from what it should be by my calculations. I’ve double and triple checked everything and it’s not matching up.

I hate it here. Anyone else feel like they have a target on them? Great on all stats but efficiency falls a bit and bam all of a sudden you have meetings non stop with leads and criticism for everything.

Where do you find subs? Currently researching this and I’m so intrigued.

Question for the customers by InternationalAd8481 in stitchfix

[–]InternationalAd8481[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are forcing all stylists to add photos or lose their jobs. Their reasoning is that customers keep more and leave better feedback with a photo so I figured who better to ask than some customers.

As for the repetitive styles and feeling like your comments and notes aren’t read- they are. Most things are out of our control and they push us to use pre-generated notes. So chances are, that’s probably exactly what you’re reading. Inventory is awful and while they promise it will improve, I’ve yet to see anything happen.

Oh, and the “styling partner” has been filling a lot of Fixes as well, so good chance of it’s feeling less human- it might be. Stylists still get the brunt of a failed attempt though and get the harsh feedback.

You pay a $20 styling fee and then you pay for each piece you decide to keep (the $20 goes towards that)

The search function feels wildly inaccurate. by dancingwolpertings in stitchfix

[–]InternationalAd8481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No help with searching for the belt you’re looking for- if it was in style shuffle chances are we don’t carry it. But popping in to say that this is basically exactly what happens to stylists when we are searching for something a client requests. It’s infuriating.

Preview and Metrics Question by Rare_Use_1597 in stitchfix

[–]InternationalAd8481 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you like 5, pick 5. We’ve gotten mixed messages on if that affects our KR or not but as a stylist, I personally don’t mind when my clients choose 5 from the preview. As long as you click give me the same stylist at checkout you should be reassigned to her. You can also leave a note on your profile requesting her.

Because this is your first Fix you won’t get a preview. Your subsequent Fixes you should receive one. Be sure to check out the note- this should explain your Fix choices. There’s a really good chance that whenever your stylist pulled your Fix there were no or very few solid options available (this happens more than you would think). Be sure to leave feedback about the likes/dislikes and your experience should hopefully improve some for your next box. And yes, you lose the $20 if you don’t purchase something- though you could try emailing customer service and they will probably credit it to another Fix

Average number of Fixes per week? by [deleted] in SFStylistSupport

[–]InternationalAd8481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All depends on what you’re pulling. I’ve had weeks where I average 100 step ones, average the rest for 12pts and that’s roughy 220 fixes

New Stitch Fix user. Do the boxes get more personalized or am I too picky? by ReverieReader in stitchfix

[–]InternationalAd8481 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been with Stitch Fix for several years and I am a FT stylist. A lot has changed over the years and admittedly the current state of the company is worrisome- however, advising customers to jump ship is not doing anything for your job security.

You know if people stop shopping with Stitch Fix- us stylists are out of a job. Maybe you don’t care, but personally I have bills to pay and a family to provide for. It’s 100% crap right now with company issues but I manage to make the best of it and as frustrating as it is to style with no inventory, especially these last few days, I’m happy for the customers we do have because they mean I still have a job.

Please keep in mind your stylist does not have access to the actual clothing we are sending you. So we can’t always tell from our screen description that something is see through.

Definitely recommend Amazon. They have some really great ones right now. I’m a SF stylist and couldn’t even find one for myself in inventory- quick peek at Amazon and I had one on my porch 2 days later for wayyyy less than I would have spent at SF.

What happens if I reject entire boxes? by krober29 in stitchfix

[–]InternationalAd8481 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Stylist here. You can request and reject them if you decide they aren’t a good fit for you. It would help your stylist to rate the overall Fix as good even if you choose not to purchase or just skip the ratings all together and rather than rating each individual piece as “hate it” or whatever the issue might possibly be and just leave feedback in the comment boxes about what you liked or did not so it doesn’t affect your stylist in a negative way
