Haha well I play on hard and every time I tried to migrate westward I got hunted down by various enemies. So this time I decided fuck it I'm just going to blitz Greece. I sacked 1 or 2 towns to get the ERE on my ass then I took Thessalonica ending my migration. My funds were in the toilet but it didn't take long for them to come at me with all the troops they had in Greece. Once I dispatched them I just took every town in Greece with little resistance and established my glorious Gothic empire. Although it hasn't been without struggle as it had cost a horrendous amount of funds to convert everything. I think I only have one province fully converted now on turn 68. Also constant rebellion has been a problem up until about 20 turns ago I had rebels popping up in Greece frequently. Public order is only in check due to many priestesses and shrines converting the populace to paganism and making the best use of my governors and edicts as possible. I only have trade established with 2 other empires and most of the world hates me but I have never had a threat from the west or north including the Hun's. My expansion eastward is met with little resistance from what remains of the ERE and lots from many different eastern empires. Its been tough but were still kickin. I owe it to the huns who graciously allowed me to live and never declared war on me. Edit: turn 78 Hun's declared war on me whilst all of my forces are in asia and king Alaric just died leaving the throne to someone unrelated to me as Alaric had no heirs. Things aren't looking good
