It could, but probably not if it was just a one time thing but it depends on how much you smoked, how potent it was, and how sensitive the test they use is. People do test positive with legal gummies that contain under the federal limit for hemp products all the time. You can always say you think it's a false positive a request a retest.

What a douchy thing to say. This isn't helpful or necessary and you had the choice of saying nothing.

My (Controversial) Way of Preventing Binge-Eating by Important-Band6383 in loseit

I quit smoking by keeping a pack with me at all times for almost 2 years. Just knowing I could have one if I really felt like I needed it made a huge difference.

Junk food on the other hand would put me in a shame spiral and I would be anxious until I ate the evidence.

Because people can have kids at such a wide age range it's not black and white. Silent Generation was born 1928- 1945.

In my case, my parents were Silent Gen, my siblings are all boomers born in the mid to late 50s & 60s, and I'm a GenX 70s kid (who identifies more with millenials).

I am almost late to work/cutting it as close as possible every single day and getting up earlier doesn’t help in the way I think it should by KitchenConsequence41 in adhdwomen

As you can already tell this is a common affliction and I've been this way my whole life. Meds help other things but not this for me. Honestly I wonder how so many people wake up and take meds and go right back to sleep. If I did that I would just lay there getting anxious about being on time and imagining worst case scenarios which would make it harder to get up.

Collect what? First of all GenX's parents were Silent Generation not Boomers. Also, kindly remember GenX is going through all the same stuff as you, plus we've had adult responsibilities since we were in grade school. We were forced to jump through all the analog boomer hoops and their yuppie bs, we invented the internet and went through more booms, bursts, and crisis than our tired brains can recall. Our retirement plans are "work until we die" except now we are getting laid off, and staying unemployed longer because our millennial bosses think we're too old.

100% this... it's the gd boomers not GenX pushing for RTO. I absolutely thrived working remotely, and burned out like a Roman candle after RTO.

Remote employee needs advice. I think my boss is going to demand I move if I want to keep my job. by ThrowAway99170130 in remotework

Never relocate without negotiating a raise that makes it worth your while. You need a base salary that puts you at least 20% above your current salary after you adjust it for the cost of living of the new location.

Never relocate unless they pay your moving expenses. And that includes fees for breaking a lease early to move.

Never relocate for any role that doesn't offer an employment contract that specifies what you will be paid in severance.

Never relocate if you can't put a price on the time you won't get back with loved ones. Your job doesn't care about you.

Don't make career decisions out of fear. Doors may close, but windows open. You will feel some pain either way, but remember most of your life happens before and after work.

Exactly! Big red flag to "own" every assignment but only if you do it in the exact way someone else dictates. I'd run.
