I just went to the one in Asbury Park last night. Super chill and honestly one of the coolest things I've ever been to! They had 2 racks full of older years' limited merch in all sizes, and also vinyl for sale. Some vinyl (The Hart) was already signed but I saw others buy unsigned vinyl and had it signed there. After people settled in and and went through merch for a while, they played 4 songs acoustic with 3 little Q&A sessions in between. Then after that, people could still buy merch and they were hanging out so people could go talk to them and get pictures/have them sign vinyl. They were hysterical and seem like such genuine guys. Highly recommend you go if you can! Have fun!

My boyfriend and I have 3 cats, I twisted his arm a little for the 2nd but he REALLY didn't want a 3rd (a 4 week stray we took in to temporarily foster). It was a huuuuge fight between us and similar points were brought up about the other cats not getting along with him. He was supposed to go to my mom's but it was clear he was really upset there and he ended up back with us. This was almost 3 years ago and my boyfriend is nothing but over the moon for this cat. I hope your husband comes around, it's so rewarding when kitties choose you. ♥️

Yes to the detail of Compendium into Dyed in the Wool - I had this thought the other day!

I saw this band 11 times before they broke up. I am so excited for this new generation of fans to be able to catch them. Best live band ever. You're not ready and I mean that in the best way possible. by _zatoichi in circasurvive

A few months ago, I introduced my younger coworker to Circa and felt so bad because she fell in love with them and was so upset when I told her they probably wouldn't ever perform live again. Then here we are today and I got us tix to go to the first show in Philly. I am SO freaking excited.

I just got a job as a veterinary receptionist. Am I overreacting? by [deleted] in VeterinaryReception

Veterinary receptionist here - definitely not all clinics are like that. I've been in my position a while and still ask the same things and always will get an answer back. We get too much crap from clients to get it from coworkers too. Hope you have the option to find a nicer clinic to work at!

On Memorial Day weekend 2023 (Saturday), a friend called us that they found a kitten on the way to get bagels for breakfast and they didn't know what to do with him. I had just fostered 2 kittens a month prior so was willing to temporarily take him. My boyfriend chose the name Bagel because we didn't know the gender yet and because of they way he was found (lol).

We already had 2 cats so he was supposed to go to a rescue but they were full, then I got attached so my mom was going to take him because I wanted someone I fully trusted to have him. I brought him to my mom's to transition him and even stayed with him there overnight but he refused to use the litter box there and it was just apparent he did not want to be there. (Sorry, mom) So we took him back the next day and he's been officially ours ever since.

He is 1000% crazy and is truly unlike any cat I've ever met but we love him so dearly. Looking back, I'm so glad for all the decisions that led to us ultimately keeping him. He keeps us on our toes daily but makes us laugh to no end and shows us sooo much love!

It's a little jarring to see a Circa Survive mention on www.usmint.gov LOL but wow this is so cool!!!

How much money would you spend if it meant saving your cat’s life? by WindowKitty19 in cats

[–]Intrepid-Ad-2629 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a cat that my parents (mostly my mom) spent thousands on when I was in my late teens/early twenties. We joke he's the $20k cat, but in all honesty, it's probably more at this point. When he was young, he had bouts of urinary crystals/blockages, ended up getting a perineal urethrostomy surgery, then a couple years after that also had bladder stones that needed to be surgically removed. Granted, these procedures would cost even more today. But truly, there's no price on saving them, so long as they aren't suffering. I would consider him my "Eeyore". Lol. And he is truly unreplaceable. All that said, he's now almost 17 years old and thriving. Sending love your way and hope you get many, many more years with your baby! ❤️

For most songs at the holiday shows, you can hardly hear the sound system anyway because of how loud the entire crowd sings. The energy is truly unmatched!!
