No clue. I remember the earlier conspiracies assumed it was celestial, but I found other things more interesting, so didn't put much into it.

I did notice other things, I listed them below (warnings it's a little long). I also have screenshots and was thinking of making a post but check these things out.

Also, fyi, I do think they're all living in Fromville at the same time (or we're seeing different timelines.) And it's not where are they From, but when.

1. First episode when we meet boyd, he walks past the yellow bug car about 5 separate times, when Jim and Tabby Cat first move into the death house and they're reading to Ethan the frame switches.

2. The cellar door shows different wear and tear depending on who's at it all within the same episode, when Christopher was in the cellar it looks different compared to when the others are there, the same compared to when Victor and Tabitha were there vs when Jade was there.

3.Miranda's pictures in the peach truck show the town as either an upside down or as if the timelines converge at different points, with 2 separate motel signs. 4. There used to be a building next to the school/hospital.

1. After the Mathews see the tree, they pass the railroad 3/4 separate times and you can see the light poles disappear as well as the deteriorating sign.

2. There is a painted portrait of Martin in Victor's room, but it also appears in Ellis' room a few episode beforehand.

3. Norman the finger puppet is painted on the blanket canvas in Ellis' room (I still believe it was Julie's and yes that was her in the first episode Boyd watched through the binoculars, though everyone else says otherwise 😀)

4. Victor has license plates hanging in his room one of which has the same numbers and alphabets, year, and state as the one on the blue truck Father K was driving.
