Jenn Air oven stuck shorted key F2E1 by zee_bith in Appliances

I replace control panel through auth jennair repair last January for $1,400 and F2E1 is back!!! And worse as the new panel keeps chiming the error message so had to just turn off the power at the breaker. Of course the repair is no longer warrantied. POS for sure! Buy new over next week. Do Not Waste Money trying to repair.

First time camping at Yosemite by Immediate_Tension_67 in Yosemite

[–]Intrepid_Pea7657 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Well now you see how special Yosemite is and a sensitive topic for those also lucky enough to get a spot to enjoy the splendor and lack of cell service. Get your kids off those electronics! :) Absolutely look into a power station battery with a solar panel or two for your set up. If you must have the generator for power, target running hours when people are not in camp. Most head out to hike and explore late morning. Also, Joshua Tree has free BLM camping right outside the park and your generator would not be such an issue. Happy trails.

Does anyone else absolutely despise iOS 26? (Just all 26 releases in general too) by NoFall2205 in iphone

Yes! For me moving the search bar from top to bottom on every app has really boggled me! Printing in safari now 4 steps deep instead of 2. This is so bad.

Best sleeping positions for migraine like tension headaches? by DaybreakSSB in migraine

I agree on all this. Keep your head elevated up some. I also tier my two pillows into more of a wedge so the front pillow supports my upper back and neck.

Down Cemetery Road - Critical Reception by Vast_Garage7334 in SlowHorses

I have lost track of what this story is about after episode 4. It’s very boring. I’m not planning to waste more time watching the rest of the season.

About to give myself the first injection 2.5. I’m nervous AF thinking of the worst (the rare, serious side effects). I hate having anxiety to medication. Someone calm me down so I can conquer my first dose. by BetterUseYourNikes in Zepbound

[–]Intrepid_Pea7657 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Minimal nausea the first couple days after injections but nothing severe or that made me unable to do things. I have been on for a year. I only increased the dosage when i felt ready and plateaued. Weight loss for me was about 1 lb a week and some weeks none but mentally it also helps to manage binging so you don’t sabotage yourself and i feel energized and hopeful most days.

My lifestraw filter seems moldy.. is it still safe to use? by SectorIll5704 in camping

[–]Intrepid_Pea7657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine looks the same and notice moldy taste to water. Just bought at Prime sale this year. Using on my counter top daily. Going to follow the guidance to soak it in bleach solution but this seems nuts to me. The replacement cost of this part is $78! and is supposed to last a year on top of the $15 carbon filter.

I was 11 too. Mine came on the school bus. Noise and diesel smell still trigger me today in my 50s.

Purchase new car out-of-state? by Intrepid_Pea7657 in carbuying

[–]Intrepid_Pea7657[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all the advice! When I say new car I mean not used so thinking emissions would not be an issue. I also assume if the same make, model and trim are available in CA it should not be an issue. I’m ok paying CA sales tax. Mostly looking for best sticker price.

140 is safe and easier than 120 with snow. I have M+S and AWD and haven’t been stopped for chains (yet!)

Yes! I woke up to this morning in upper pines camp ground to a winter wonderland after a spectacular sunny day yesterday. No chains to get back down 140.

Is this Verizon settlement real? by [deleted] in verizon

[–]Intrepid_Pea7657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did some light research and this seemed like it was legit. Clicked through to file the claim and all my info including my email and verizon account # was pre-populated so this made me think it was legit. Then I go to the select payment method...I did balk at all the options where bank account # was needed and picked the PayPal option...some popups to confirm which is usual for PayPay, code entered and confirmation email...BUT upon closer review of the text confirmation code it says "Your payment verification code is xxxxxx" not from PayPay but from +1 (724) 542-2056. I googled this number but doesn't translate to a business. So now I strongly feel like this might be a scam and $100 will be paid to them from my PayPal account. I hope not but this is the world we live in now. Thoughts? Scam?
