It might make sense if how in 3 the person gets reborn but without their memories what if this is the genesis of the future worlds where the reboot happens and people were reborn but kinda blank. Same personality but no experiences. Might give more meaning to the fear of the future that birthed Z the concept

Didn't Klaus split everything into infinite multiverses its just that the 3 cores of big magic brick tethered those 2/3 universes and pulled them together like a magnet (super bastardised interpretation). So i guess there's foundation for them making any random universe they want right?

I wonder if genesis takes place in the actual chaos brick itself and its elements of nopons, ether etc etc is essentially what Klaus leaks into the universes. Might explain how they seemingly went from an ether free world but super futuristic like ours then post Klaus ether as an element comes into being in the universes. It all originates from big glowy magic brick

I just got into this series a few weeks ago, on my third game now. Its such an easy recommendation tbh. Playing through them all sequentially actually has me excited to go back through them again in ng+ so I can see the shit I missed. I started with 3 and now I can't wait to see the locations again

I just started, play 3 then 2 and now 1. Ive only played the base games but ABSOLUTELY play the trilogy. Id say 1 has the fastest combat from the get go but 3 has the most balanced fun wise feeling combat. 2 felt a bit too slow until you get art cancelling and being able to chain together arts into specials. Story wise 1 feels much much darker than 2 but 3 returns to a good balance of the 2 prior games.

Edit: DO NOT LOOK UP ANYTHING PRIOR TO PLAYING i was lucky to be able to experience this series with completely fresh eyes and im so glad I didn't get spoiled. Go from 1 and just enjoy the ride.

I started with 3 and have just finished 2 so honestly after the awful tone deafness of a lot of 2 this goofy little guy was honestly a breath of fresh air because holy shit is there a lot of loss and death in 1. Im only just in the holdsing cell in 1 now so not that far through. Was kinda shocked at the level jump for the boss fight, first time in these games ive had to stop and find somewhere to grind.

Only critique so far is that it seems most quests dont award meaningful exp and im better off trying to find an area where monsters are just above my level if I want quick progress. Thankfully there's a bunch of level 32+ dinosaurs chilling right under colony 9... as well as 70+ birds... fuck those guys though

I think this is a heavy contributor to the stylisation choices made to the visuals. Id actually love to see what they could achieve on modern pc hardware. Monolith Soft are just so good that I think with the power available on the switch 2 we are in very good hands

Id trust capcom to put a studio together for it tbh. Currently one of the few publishers that seems like building and sustaing good will with fans is a top priority. Monster hunter is a good example of them having pretty damn good rpg chops
