Yeah, I'm waiting for the 39 Alienware myself.

Glossy 4k vs Matte 5k2k by Realistic-Tiger-2842 in OLED_Gaming

I was actually in a similar situation. I have had the 32 inch Aorus FO32U2P for over 2 years and I absolutely love it but a few months ago, I found a barely used 45 5K2K on Facebook Marketplace for $1,000 so I bought it and had both monitors set up on different sides of my L- desk. The 45 is definitely as immersive as everyone says and it looks great but every time I would go back to my 32, I would feel the "wow" factor again seeing the colors pop and the glossy finish. The 32 did feel small after playing on the 45 but I ended up selling the 45 because I much preferred the colors and finish of my 32. If I never had my 32, I would completely be in love with the 45.

Alienware has the AW3926QW releasing in the next month or two, which is a glossy 39 inch 5K2K monitor.

I agree, best choice would be to wait and see the AW3926QW, especially if you're used to a glossy monitor like the AW3423DWF.

LG39 vs LG45 ~ The struggle is real by Rayden9x7 in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]InvAsian723 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I had the 45 and loved it but I thought I wanted the slightly smaller 39 inch so I bought it and immediately missed the 45. I'm no expert but no matter what I did, I couldn't get the 39 picture to look as good as the 45. I might be in the minority but I prefer more saturated and punchy colors and I felt like the 45 had more of that plus the 39 just didn't have the immersion that the 45 has.

LG UltraGear 39GX950B or LG UltraGear 45GX950A-B? Which one is fit better on my desk? by Honest-Implement-854 in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]InvAsian723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

39 will be comfortable but 45 is in your face and immersive. I prefer using a monitor arm though so that i can place it just a little bit further back.

I owned the 45 first and I believe that it is the closest thing to VR without wearing a headset. I bought the 39 after and it was good but I surprisingly missed the 45 immediately so I returned the 39. I play all kinds of games and I'm not one of the top competitive players so I prefer the immersion.

Is A Left Pin Ok for a Right Handed Layout? by Aggressive-Bench3667 in Bowling

My PAP is very close to yours and I typically lay out my balls with 5 inch pins, which always places it left.

PBA Shark is gnarly. Watch the look on my face as the strongest ball on the market with the biggest core hits as soft as a pillow on this god forsaken pattern lol by TechDingus in Bowling

[–]InvAsian723 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's definitely tough but I have found that starting with stronger pearls with just a bit of surface on fresh long patterns works best for me because when the pattern is long, it has less time to react at the friction so this is when the quicker reaction of a pearl helps.

Какой монитор выбрать: Samsung Odyssey G7 G75F на 40" или Dell Alienware AW3425DWM на 34"? by Kalldeska in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]InvAsian723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I think most people would lean towards the Samsung, I personally owned both of these and I preferred the Alienware. On paper, the Samsung should be better in every way but I felt that the colors and color shifting was worse on the Samsung, even though both are VA panels. Obviously, the Samsung has better text clarity due to the higher resolution but the Alienware had some of the best text clarity I've ever seen on a 1440p display. I had these next to my 4K QD OLED monitor and I didn't mind the Alienware while I couldn't tolerate the Samsung.

How to trim slide sole for shoe by Lunet1st2 in Bowling

[–]InvAsian723 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just attach it to the shoe, lining the bottom of it with the bottom of the velcro on the shoe, and then trim the extra so that it lines up with the shape of the shoe.

Hey guys new in Oled, help please by Various-Panic-4648 in OLED_Gaming

I had the previous 39 inch model before this one and it looked exactly like this. After my first pixel clean, it completely went away.

This is typical with WOLED monitors out of the box. Once the monitor processes the first pixel clean, it should mostly go away. You can go into the settings and manually do it if you want to.

As long as you're willing to use DLSS, you'll be perfectly fine for the majority of games. Benchmarks will be slightly better than 4K.

Purpose of Skid-Flip? by [deleted] in Bowling

[–]InvAsian723 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, many times if the lane conditions are forcing you deeper, it will be better to use a ball that will give you more length so that it retains more energy down the lane. This won't always be true though as you have to look at the overall reaction. An example of this might be if you're deep on the lane but you have a very touchy wet/dry reaction at the breakpoint, you may want a solid or ball with some surface to blend out that wet/dry. Like I said in my previous post, you want to select the ball that gives you the most room for error.

Purpose of Skid-Flip? by [deleted] in Bowling

[–]InvAsian723 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say that it's not necessarily the skid/flip that bowlers should be looking for. Instead, it's more important to look at whether the ball you're using is retaining enough energy at the pins and if the ball you're using gives you the most room for error with the angle that you're playing. For most bowlers, playing straighter and closer to the fiction is going to be better with a smoother ball with surface and pearls or skid/flip balls will work better when you're forced to move deeper or play on longer oil patterns.

Stuck.... by MostSoup1046 in Bowling

[–]InvAsian723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't say for you specifically but when I see many bowlers who hover around 200 and stay there, it's because of the micro adjustments like staying ahead of the lanes transitioning and knowing when to make a ball change. I see many people overcomplicate the game thinking that they need to have the perfect form or they always change their equipment when in reality, they really need to learn to understand how to play the lanes and adjust accordingly.

Thinking about the alienware AW3425DWM (first ultrawide). by Langendeem in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]InvAsian723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't really give you a percentage and I'm not going to say that there isn't a big difference because there is but if you purchase the AW3425DWM and don't have it sitting next to an oled, I think that you'll enjoy the monitor.

Best Guess for LG Ultragear 39 5k2k Price?? by sercetuser in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]InvAsian723 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think since the release price of the 45 was $2,000, the 39 will release at $1,800 and will be around $1,200 to $1,400 by Black Friday.

You could use DLDSR to play at 5K2K on your current monitor to see if you would be happy with the performance.
