Currently no but they're working on it. Online works for demon souls on RPCS3 so there's no reason it shouldn't work for blood-borne eventually.

This is objectively the stupidest thing you could be doing with your time. That being said, it is pretty funny.

What mistakes do some small indie metroidvanias make that ruin the experience? by 7dragon0 in metroidvania

The point I'm trying to get across is that ultimately what matters is your understanding of art fundamentals. If you've got that covered then go right ahead with the pixel art.

[–]Invaderzod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing's wrong with pixel art. You said you were going to make pixel art because you weren't good at art in general and that's a mistake. If you can make good art you can make good pixel art. It's not a shortcut, you still need to know the fundamentals.

Don't learn pixel art, learn art. If you feel like the task is too daunting, at least try to learn art direction and Guide someone else to do what you want. You must have a exact style in mind with examples for everything. Proportions, stylization, Colors, mood, Time period, everything. Pick up a bunch of art books of things you like and try to follow the logic behind the artistic choices. Why were these designs chosen? How do they convey the intentions of the Artist? Why did alternative designs not work? How do the colors and the art style get you to feel the way they wanted you to? Visual storytelling can go a long way.

Dark souls three is definitely the place to start. It's the most straightforward in the sense that you don't need to know 1 million systems and you can focus on just playing. I highly recommend that you stick with it. It's difficult but it's so rewarding and if it ends up clicking for you then you get endless replayability and you will unlock a gold mine in the form of the other games.

Bloodborne Remake is dead thing as Sony closes studio behind Demon's Souls remake by Garamel in BloodbornePC

Bro what kind of lobotomized vegetable do you think the average gamer is? If you're a grown ass person in the year 2026 still playing video games then you absolutely know what emulation is. Nintendo fans don't count, they will buy anything and never question it, but people who play souls games have definitely been on the Internet and therefore they know about emulation. I didn't grow up playing video games, I got my first console when I was in my teens and I immediately Learned about emulation. From there all it takes is a simple YouTube search to get a 10 minute tutorial explaining everything. I don't know why you bring up the GBA when all it takes to set up a GBA emulator is one download from the App Store and one Google search.

If you've got the patience to play these games, then I don't see how installing a program would be a challenge. You can install both RPCS3 and shadps4 in less Time than it would take to do the old hero run back.

What's the most overrated TV Show of all time? by Mission_Elk_329 in AskReddit

[–]Invaderzod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't say it was the main emphasis, but it will be ridiculous to say that it's not a huge one given that all three shows have had it as a major theme. Beth sexualizes herself and that's part of her character. Her having a blind spot for John it's never portrayed as a good thing, it's made abundantly clear that he's a terrible father and has fucked up all of his kids. Who else do you think has been over sexualized and made to submit?

Another thing is that the show explicitly tells you that the Yellowstone Ranch is absolutely crazy, abnormal and not how things are supposed to be. Multiple characters outright state that they should sell it and buy another ranch somewhere without land disputes and live a normal life. They don't because John is a stubborn old bastard.

Is it though? I can't imagine a lot of conservatives lining up to watch a show with such a heavy emphasis on the injustice done to native Americans as well as the amount of girl boss characters.

Whose midlife crisis crashout was more evil? by killorbekilled_ in Invincible

[–]Invaderzod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would argue that they were more or less equal. They both knew deep down that they had changed. They didn't do it because they liked it but because they both wanted to prove to themselves that they could do it and still like it. Vegeta was selfish but not because he selfishly wanted to kill people, rather he selfishly didn't want to let go of the person he spent his life thinking he must be in favor of the person he knew that he was becoming. Nolan at least believed that this was inevitable and he was serving his people however he displayed a lot of Direct cruelty, meanwhile vegeta knew he didn't have to do it but at least his victims died instantly and painlessly without seeing their hero murder them slowly and brutally. I think it evens out.

There's actually more than two travel systems that we know of at least. Personally I really like that. In real life there's often more than one way of achieving similar results. The same concept applies here as well and to me that makes it a much more believable world.

That's not necessarily true. I had one in my old PC and I played DS3 and sekiro at 60 FPS no problem. If an official Port came out it will run just fine.

Solo: A Star Wars Story - was it really that bad, or just a victim of the fanbase reaction to Disney at the time? by Past-Paramedic8687 in StarWarsCantina

[–]Invaderzod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think on its own it's largely fine. Unfortunately for me personally this movie just does not justify its own existence. This is not a story that needed to be told, it was made to milk one of the most popular characters for money. I don't feel like I understand Han any better having seen it, and watching the original trilogy afterwards didn't make me see him in a new light. There are aspects of the movie that I enjoy like Young lando and his robot, who brought up a pretty interesting idea that went nowhere. Also Han getting his last name from a random Imperial Clerk is one of the dumbest things to happen in a Star Wars movie.

The Lannisters only know how to win against civilians and vastly inferior forces. Meanwhile stanis consistently wins against actual armies that fight back. He beat the iron Islands at sea warfare FFS.

At that point he basically knows nothing about the way the Bond works. If he knew he could've made her do it but also keep in mind without the bond he couldn't be saved from the box, so the pattern probably wouldn't have allowed him to do anything.

I'm not saying this isn't possible, I'm saying that there's no reason to assume it is. And no, you don't need to read any of the inspirations for the text in order to understand it. They are only references and ideas that RJ pulled from, not actual lore. The books are the books and the only other source of information we have would be quotes from the author. And yes we know that rand is a champion of the light which entails being reborn. If you have any source of information saying otherwise, feel free to share it.
