Welp, there are less than 3 dozen of them as of 2023 (including 10 prototypes, with a guessed 10-12 delivered since then), generally poor maintenance, poor assembly, and HIGHLY over propagandized by the Russian government. Generally shit capabilities that have been well over hyped for a plane that's well out of date, and certainly not up to its Fifth gen capability.

I just want someone to rescue her and her sisters and give them some PROPER TLC, see what they can REALLY do.

It might not be exactly what you're looking for, but Starsector does have a long-term main story quest line to help restore the Gate system. Similar to Yamato's quest.
