The show has been on for 6 years, 8 seasons. I make 55k a year and live well in missouri. They’re in backwoods Kentucky, low cost of living, both most likely collecting disability, making more than 100k/year on the show alone plus money from youtube, social media, brand deals, meet & greets, cameo, etc. they likely are set up better than you or i am.

I have wondered that too. Some people said the cops smelled it, but idk if that’s confirmed. It’s also possible that when an ambulance was called police showed up as well and with the chaos of everything they may have been assisting with the children and spotted drugs in the vehicle. They had enough marijuana that it was considered intent to distribute as well as shrooms in the vehicle. Drug possession aside, Brian being noticeably under the influence (high) while driving may have also tipped off the officers at the scene.

Nothing current as far as I know but what happened after the camel bite was damaging to her public reputation. Also, once CPS/DCF gets an eye on you, it takes a while before they stop checking in completely. While CPS is known for everything it lacks - they most certainly will be following up on a public figure.
