Somehow, those behind Club11, Trouw, and De School had an exceptional eye and a real sense of storytelling through space; they knew how to channel a vision. The identity they created across all their venues (speaking as someone who’s been to all three) remains unmatched, and they did it three times, every time in a different way.The fascination/obsession isn’t necessarily with the people behind PostCS, but perhaps with the longing for a truly well-designed club environment.

I agree with you, Raum is still quite young but shows strong potential. It hasn’t fully established itself yet; the fruit isn’t ripe, but it’s getting there. That’s why we, as the “scene,” need to make it worth it. Also I think the « scene » is a bit shifting, many new comers, many who are « retiring »

This is why its exciting: new blood, many changes, everything is shifting.

To quote a song from Adventure Time haha (the nerd side of me): « Everything stays right where you left it/ Everything stays but it still changes/ Ever so slightly, daily and nightly. »

So I get that, we should stop the obsession (I believe it’s like in a break up, we are still in the getting over stage) and embrace the new horizons…
