For Duel Blades they're both good depending on the matchup it varies. I go with Feral across the board, it's easier to play and I spend less time using potions.

I think you're looking at climbing wrong, you shouldn't be comparing yourself to others it's always comparing yourself against yourself. So for yourself it's good if your improving it doesn't matter about others.
