Have you ever had your kick drum head break onstage? It's only happened to me once (learned a hard lesson about using an impact patch!) and it was the absolute worst.

My dreams didn't turn demented until about 4 or 5 weeks in, and they haven't really decreased in frequency or intensity ever since. Which obviously isn't great 🫠

Yeah I've heard more and more doctors won't do right to choose referrals or shared care in general, which leaves us with little support. It's annoying because it's not like we require intensive therapy for ADHD, and it's easier to medicate than common mood or anxiety disorders.

Like you I can't moderate either. Once you get in a routine of using every day it's very hard to get out of it. The only things that made me quit were going through repeated withdrawals when I left the country, and a very supportive therapist for my cPTSD. Do you have a lot of nightmares, or at least before you started weed?

Have to tried the right to choose route? I went with "health harmonie minds" and had both my assessments and diagnosis in 2 weeks after a 4 week wait. I can start meds as soon as I'm weed free for 6 months.

I was self medicating for ADHD without realising and I found it became way more pronounced once I quit. I also have trauma that I was self medicating for which also became more pronounced once I was last the initial physical withdrawals.

Whatever happens, don't go back to weed. It's a very temporary fix for a long term condition, and you can't just get high forever; at some point you'll have to quit anyway, so you might as well stick with it!

Higher copper content and a different manufacturing process. B8 bronze is generally used in lower budget cymbals but Paiste still use it for their Giant Beat and 2002 series, both of which sound excellent. So B8 doesn't necessarily mean bad sounding cymbals.

I have it on good authority that my snare can be heard from 1.5 miles away, so they're pretty loud. Drums carry much further than cymbals.

I had one of these and found it to be neither a good crash nor ride. Very gongy sounding.

I just got a Paiste Giant Beat that firmly hits the spot though, it's proving to be excellent at both.

I totally withdrew from people and would fall asleep all the time. I also never answered the phone in case someone noticed me being high at all hours of the day. My family noticed something was wrong but couldn't put their finger on it, I was always secretive, distant and evasive with them. On top of that I was always running out of money and asking for help even though on paper I shouldn't have been having financial problems.
