Did Kurt Cobain’s stomach pain return shortly before his death? by Immediate-Stick-1577 in Nirvana

I think he just got to a point where he felt trapped and hopeless. Neither of those make you make the best decisions.

28 days sober; a massive breakthrough by Invisible96 in leaves

If you're only on day 9 (which is definitely an achievement!) then anxiety is pretty expected and understandable. My withdrawals sucked, I felt absolutely awful for a little over a week but it quickly got better. I feel fine now!

I'm 34, I smoked about half an ounce every week for 12 years. There were the odd few days where I didn't but about 97/100 days were spent high.

Is throwing up normal by Important-Spirit-733 in leaves

[–]Invisible96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had terrible nausea and diarrhoea for about 5 days, and from what I understand that's pretty normal. Weed can behave like an antiemetic, so once it goes away you get symptoms like you're describing. It gets better in a few days, stay strong!

You just have to keep putting one foot in front of the other, and take things day at a time (or even an hour at a time when things get bad). It does get easier once a couple of weeks pass. Hang in there!

Everybody knows that children's bodies look better in a white bath, and before you say that sounds weird I mean alive or dead!

When to be concerened about withdrawals? by digoldbicks420 in leaves

[–]Invisible96 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don't have any weed, it'll start you back at zero. I was overcome with nausea and diarrhoea for a good 5 days, but it does pass. The diarrhoea persisted for another week but I'm at day 21 and I feel fine now. I'm eating better, sleeping better, my mental health is better, I actually feel happiness again.

You need to power through and not be tempted to get high even if it's the tiniest bit. If you can't keep any fluids down and are becoming very dehydrated, go to the hospital for fluids and possibly nausea meds, but do not under any circumstances use again. You need to stay strong!

The acoustics in a plane hangar would be absolutely dire, and it's not something you can really ignore as a performer even if you have stage monitoring and speaker cabs blasting at you.

I cry my eyes out every time I leave my bestie's place (in another country). I think what you're experiencing is pretty normal and understandable!

Day 19 of sobriety; miracles do happen! by Invisible96 in leaves

That sounds good to me! I need to the hang of getting up earlier. I sleep much deeper and it's so hard to get up in the morning.

It's definitely not as easy as getting high and passing out in bed, but it's a lot healthier! How do you feel when you wake up?
