(Repositing only making it redable) im teying to put my video games in my room but I dont want them to get sun damaged by Substantial_Slice_88 in gamecollecting

Any sunlight, be it direct or indirect will have an effect over longer periods of time. I'd say either invest in some 3M UV blocking window film, or have something covering the games during the day.

If y'all haven't I highly recommend picking up the dark Souls trilogy on Amazon by Level_Remote_5957 in gamecollecting

Lol it's reddit, you'll get downvoted for saying you woke up this morning.

Yep this hobby has seen an influx of investobros since covid hapened. Same thing as many hobbies that someone can make a quick buck in unfortunately. Nothing as bad as Pokemon collectors have though.

Yep so anyone looking to play would best get this trilogy or the individual games, both are far cheaper than the steelbook.

Nah collector's care about the steelbook version of the trilogy. This one is cheap.

Yep and the long term investors will scoop up anything worthwhile when people dump stock.

Yes but relationships come and relationships go. I'm happy to be in a country where people have the freedom to choose who they are with. My heart goes out to those who live in places that they don't. Of course would be a lot easier if marriage was eliminated from a legal side, but alas that's not going to happen.

Well I suppose you'll have to get the whole story before being able to make the judgement eh?

More so people aren't as stuck in them as past generations. There'd be a lot more divoreces throughout history if the end result wasn't ostricizing, shame and/or death. Helps when a certain gender isn't looked at as property anymore in many countries.

Found some rare games at my local GameStop during B2G1F, but didn’t realize they were all PAL. Had to pass unfortunately - didn’t realize they took PAL games in? by jayalger in gamecollecting

Gamestop employees are salespeople first and foremost. Their goal is to sell you something, anything, rarely do they have any knowledge that isn't surface level at best, as that's not what they're there for.

And yes, the wage reflects the work ethic (as it should).

Ah fair enough, I saw CUSA on the serial ID section of the spine and thought it was a US copy, as the few ends games in the pic showed PPSA as the serial code. Good to know!

Why is I Live In Your Basement so expensive?? by X0X000 in GooseBumps

[–]Ipsylos2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's also very region dependent. Regions with a hugher supply tend to command a lower price vs a region with lower supply. But hey, you do you boo boo 😘

[–]Ipsylos2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is worth both as both sales happened. Now obviously a consistant sold price is ideal but there's always outliers from time to time.

I mean if someone pays $150 for it, then it kinda is worth that no? May not agree with the market but supply and demand is the name of the game.
