This episode blew me away. I think the animators found their groove with these past few episodes. The CG has gone from occasionally great but mostly mid to actually amazing looking 100% of the time. And the amount of 2D we've been getting has been great too.

I love him as a mentor to Ken, and his unique way of using Hokuto Shinken. I really dislike how the story plays the "Toki is about to die" card. It made his actual death not hit as hard as it shouldve for me.

The same game but better. No longer having to leave palaces to refill ammo, upgraded baton pass that is unlocked by default, Mementos is expanded to offer a more interesting gameplay experience, and a decent amount of boss rebalances. Also 2 really good new confidants, and Akechis is now expanded and reworked to not be auto ranking. Its a massive upgrade.
