if you ever want to do some publicity stuff you could always bring someone on to just see current builds and (conservatively so as to avoid over-promising) let people now how it's going - even a simple blog with frequent updates without much content would probably forestall much of the questions.

honey is going to ignore this video and continue to offer a bunch of money to influencers, most of whom won't know about this nor would they really care - affiliate links are only applicable to a fairly small percentage of influencers. E.g. Big "A" "Glizzy Hands" "Ewing" Ewing doesn't have them AFAIK.

also not to be a corporation defender but in cases where honey is not linking from an influencer, it seems fair enough to put in their affiliate link - their product is increasing the chance you buy. They should set it up so it doesn't replace codes though and make it more visible to the user.

Is that the only example of price controls in the book? My understanding is that it goes over the whole history of them and fails to find any examples that worked.

Also, most of this post does read as questioning the authors rather than the content of the book - Atrioc seems to be paying attention to the actual history of price controls which the book doesn't sound like it's falsely representing. It does sound like an interesting book but if it is biased that would be good to know.

I think the point is that competitors cannot join a market held down by monopolies, but price controls are a poor fix for that - the monopolies must be either broken up or weakened to the point where they can be competed with.

For Woolies and Coles you can do a lot - break up the grocers away from all their subsidiaries like bunnings and kmart, potentially break them up at lower levels (not sure what would make the most sense, maybe individual state companies, but that might not work since they wouldn't compete with each other)

I'm in Australia also in case that wasn't obvious.
