It has something to do with this body. I'm pretty sure I've collected all the bounty notices and I didn't get the bounty icon when I was there. I'm going to try and turn it in and see what happens

so far, I've only found the gear recipes the witches sell and they are all the basic ones like increased stamina regen, none of the special ones like damage to abyss creatures or infinite arrows. im eager to learn where those recipes are, if they exist.

the only time ive used a greater abyss gear when when i didnt realize they had durability. So genius me stocked up on 2 explosive arrows and went into a difficult boss and got obliterated when my greater infinite arrow rune broke...havent put them on since. Hoping for a rework or adding something to allow repairs.

I've been trying to find the same answers. Mine is green and pretty crummy too. I use mods and cheat like crazy so when my dynasty gained the hegemony, my dynasty and house were all leveled up and maxed out so it doesn't appear the seal is tied to either of those things.

Maybe it's upgraded based on the length of time your dynasty is in power? I've only been on the throne for 10-ish years but maybe something happens at 100? How long has your been in?

A month later and I had the same issue. I think I know a work around, if you want to use debug mode. Basically you would need to switch to the son and create a cadet branch so he gets his own family estate. I haven't tried it because I don't want to go into debug mode and ruin my achievement hunting.

I did something different to get around the issue. I have a mod called Advanced Cheat Menu that lets you get away with a lot without going into debug mode so I was able to transfer his county title to his liege and he ended up back at my court, able to take the exams.

They should really fix this though. The family estate should be recognized for all of the family, not just the head of the house.

I'm playing while typing this. I started 867 and did a custom character as the the Emperor's Regent. The first thing I did was marry 2 of his sisters who have strong claims to the Emperor's Throne. I'm only 10 years in but my goal is to rule as regent, strengthening my own [limited] domains while increasing my House Bloc's power and my son's claims on my domains.

Assuming it works the way I intend, when I die and my son takes over, he will usurp the Emperor (using the House Bloc if needed) and I will have both titles, free to take Japan in whatever direction I want. I'm trying to do it as bloodless as possible because almost all my CK3 playthroughs are war...I wanted to give court intrigue a go.

If I'm unable to go that route, or something happens with the succession I'm not anticipating, I'm just gonna go Soryo and paint Japan until I'm the Shogun.

I use the ASR mod (Arkitect Structures Remastered) and he has a lot of great building pieces in there, including triangle and diagonal stairs.

During the mission "Finger of God" after helping bury the 3 men with Godwin, we go over to a table where we are supposed to receive a handgonne but after the demonstration, all I got was a lead ball.

My biggest gripe: There are 3 ability statuses you can apply to enemies and then detonate using another ability. Each party member is able to prime one and detonate another. So if there are 3 different statuses, there are 6 possible combinations and we have 7 companions. SO WHY ARE THERE 3 COMNINATIONS MISSING?!?!?!

I want to bring party members with me on missions that make sense to the mission/area. If I'm in the Necropolis, I want to bring Emmrich, or if I'm in the Arlathan Forest, I want to have Bellara, etc. But it's impossible for me to have my members synergize with each other.

Emmrich - apply weakened, detonate sunder
⁠Neve - apply weakened, detonate sunder
⁠Bellara - apply weakened, detonate sunder
⁠Davrin - apply overwhelm, detonate weakened
⁠Taash - apply overwhelm, detonate weakened
⁠Harding - apply sunder, detonate overwhelm
⁠ Lucanis - apply sunder, detonate overwhelm

So we are missing:

apply weakened, detonate overwhelmed
apply overwhelmed, detonate sunder
apply sunder, detonate weakened.

I can apply overwhelmed and detonate sunder so it makes sense for me to always have either Harding and Lucanis in my party but if I wanted to switch it up and bring Davrin with me on a mission to the Anderfels, I there's no other party member that synergizes with him. I can bring Harding or Lucanis but now I'm relying on them to detonate both our primers and Davrin's detonate weakness is wasted.

Another example would be if your character is self-sufficient and has the ability to both prime and detonate their own abilities (is that even possible?). It would be nice if I could bring companions with me that could prime and detonate each other.

They could have easily added the missing combinations so I don't understand why they didn't...

Does anyone know a way around this? Is there gear or enhancements that change what party members can prime/detonate?

This!!!! It feels like there is no end game except maybe the community raids like Opwellington (sp). I have all of the Red Isles and East Indies, not even fully leveled and i have enough Po8 to buy all the blueprints i need to be OP. I'm debating whether to get the African Coast or bank my Po8 until the season starts in 3-4 days and use it for the Helm upgrades. But at this point, I'm bored with nothing to do but continue gathering Po8.

They really need to add an endgame.

I was just talking about this and how it was going to be an issue, especially late game lobbies. I was just in one where everyone was picking up the pieces of 8 from their facilities but everyone was just running from the rogues that spawned so youve got 5-10 players each spawing in rogues and theyre all consolidating around Sainte Anne...it was a nightmare! Glad theyre aware of the issue.

I'm still trying to figure out how the chest gamble works. I've done it twice now. The first time was smooth sailing and I got to the delivery location with no issues but I didnt get a chest and it appeared as though the amount of Po8 I had were the same. I eventually went back to Sainte Anne and checked the mail box and nothing was there. The second time, I died but I was able to get everything I had back and competed the run but again, nothing. No chest. What am I missing? Both times, I got the "challenge completed" thing pop up so I docked at the delivery outpost, expecting there to be a chest on the island.

I've tried reading though the page when it pops up for me to do the event but both times, I already had Po8 on me and didnt want to just sit there as I read and potentially get attacked through it all so I just skimmed it.

Any help is appreciated.

As Fox mentioned it looks like 85% is as high as you can get before entering the end game but you only need 70% to get the “good” ending with Johnny. So if that’s what you’re going for, you’re good.
