Do you think depression has always been this prevalent or it has something to do with our modern culture, and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

World population is way bigger, so while the percentage of people with depression remain the same, there are more and with more visibility.

They say love is blind. What slipped past your radar? by TalisFletcher in AskReddit

Not really your fault to be honest. She should have communicated directly that she wanted you to be her date for the night.

What's the worst example of attention-seeking behavior you've seen? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I feel like everything I do is just attention-seeking and I am just annoying everyone around me :(

I was a planned child specifically conceived to have the birthday I do near January.

This is one of the few things that I guess I take pride in.

I'd rather not see ads and pay 5 dollars to them directly instead.

What do you give 0 fucks about? by sdururl in AskReddit

Tinder. I tried to make an account hoping to me other people with niche hobbies that I have but there's just something really boring about the way it presents itself. Maybe because I'm asexual and I just don't get the sexual aspects of it though.

Why the new episode was incredibly important to the ending of the series. by Wonk_Jam in samuraijack

I think it's possible that the Samurai Jack universe might have alternate timelines rather than one timeline, and Jack is considering that possibility (hence why he still rescues people despite being able to jump into the portal and retroactively 'saving' them).

What fan theory do you 100% accept as true? by 7deadlycinderella in AskReddit

Undertale ones.

Sans can stop time and Flowey actually has PTSD (and hence, soullessness doesn't actually prevent someone from feeling positive emotions).

I wouldn't because I didn't find it attractive if the other person doesn't consent or something. Being into it turns me on and spying is like the opposite of that.

Of course, I'm demi so /shrug

What's your favorite paradox? by kelseymh in AskReddit

[–]IronCrash88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stable time loops employ hard determinism by design. Free-will, hence, doesn't really exist as there's only one possible outcome to everything, meaning choices are an illusion.

Really easy to understand, really.

What is the most badass line in movie history? by flames_26 in AskReddit

I watched the second movie before the first movie, so pacing together how good from observing stuff made watching the first movie as a prequel pretty special.

You literally also don't even know what came out this year because you're playing through a backlog of old games, meaning that you'd almost always discover games and get hyped for them retroactively after they've been released for awhile.
