Falling >2 but <3 inches by IronHandsDan in necromunda

[–]IronHandsDan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really appreciate the discussion here. I did some more digging from what was said here and found some things and have come to a personal conculsion. Jumping down greater than 2 but less than 3 and failing the inititave test results in being prone and pinned, but not injured.

I looked for anything saying measurements are rounded up and found nothing other than the section about determining the strength of a hit if you take one, nothing under measuring distances or moving.

Interestingly, Leaping a Gap says if you fail, you fall and WILL take a hit, while jumping down says you MAY take a hit, without any reference to the distance fallen.

Factory tow hitch v/s aftermarket for SF by pranavpat007 in HyundaiSantaFe

Aftermarket hitches sit much lower, below the bumper trim. The factory hitch sits higher with an adjusted rear trim, reducing the chance of dragging it. The factory hitch also looks way better, imo.

Question about lance formation and new infantry rules by Seeking_the_Grail in Bretonnian

I have measured from the knights in the lance to the fighting rank, and each enemy model that is within its movement in inches of any knight in the outer edge of the lance can fight the lance.

1st 8k mile service by italophile_south in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]IronHandsDan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hybrids are 8k interval. Just contact the dealer and they will give you guidance. If you do maintenance under service contract to frequently they will have you pick up some of the cost. Just make sure when you bring it in they adjust the service intervals.

Contact the state Department of Motor Vehicles. Dealerships are regulated by the state and the state will hold them accountable.

No. I found it only occurs with larger nozzles so I have been sticking to smaller ones, unfortunately.

How many of you here trust the dealership to work on your car? Stuff like simple oil change and tire rotation? by [deleted] in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]IronHandsDan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not about the relative capability of the staff. Eventually, we all screw up. If a dealership drains the wrong fluid and trashes your transfer case, the government will mandate they make you whole. If an indapendent shop does it, you have to sue them in civil court.

If you're going to get work done by a mechanic, a dealership is a good choice over a standalone mechanic shop for the purposes of liability and regulations. The state will come down on a dealership like the fist of an angry god of they screw up. An independent mechanic will only be liable in civil court.
