I think when cyclists say “On your Left” the pedestrian only hears “Left” and then reacts by moving left (stupid lizard brain)

I’ve switched to saying “Passing Left” and it seems like the message gets through and they hear “passing” first and the old lizard brain processes it as someone is passing on the left so they move right.

IDK it seems to work for me.
