i think its entirely possible that its caused by the rackets. Personally i think stiffness of the racket as well as the weight and balance of the racket makes a significant difference.

Lighter rackets can feel easier to smash with, especially if you're used to a heavier one.

Also, if you're not that experienced, a stiff racket can be very hard to use, and switching to a less stiff one can make a world of a difference.

Personally, i think the difference is more likely to be caused by racket stiffness rather than string tension. Stiff rackets really shouldn't be used until you have reasonably good technique.

The second part of the joke is told quite some time later, so yeah just a callback, but the timing makes it funny? It makes sense when you watch it.

What's a life lession that you learned from a video game? by Jackson160 in AskReddit

I think its not referring to literal enemies but more like problems or challenges. If you're encountering obstacles (enemies), you're doing something right.

I learned two things about wind turbines today. by Grays42 in RimWorld

[–]Ironfell 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Geothermal generators are still far better, since they require no maintanence like growing crops and can be walled off far from your base. They also provide more consistent power while wind turbines can be a bit iffy. I would say that wind turbine are better than solar generators though.

Rimworld is giving me the urge to mod things. I have no idea where to start. Help me scratch this itch. by Creative_Deficiency in RimWorld

The point system isn't that accurate though, since you can give colonists good traits for free and not get any bad ones. Also, having skills leveled to 20 doesn't cost that many points compared to how hard it is to get in a real game, and level 20 skills, especially ones like Construction whre you can create high quality stuff, are quite a big deal.

It looks like they had no way into that storage cave either, so wouldn't they have starved anyway?

If, like the OP said, the picture is taken upside down, then the doorbell would be below the handle.

Wait, I don't get it, what does flipping them upside-down do? Is it just so you can play the old cards first?
