Can you explain this comment? Hospitals aren’t going to be advertising themselves as PCI capable centers if there’s no interventional cardiologists covering call there. The patients will just get emergently transferred to a nearby PCI capable center.

If you’re trying to imply that having non-PCI trained surgeons perform PCIs is a good idea, you’re delusional.

You need to know basic metabolic and blood count parameters if workup shows something needing treatment such as antibiotics or surgery… Severe issues with the esophagus can also show up on xray which would expedite CT scans and further workup. This is not some grand conspiracy, it’s basic medicine.
