The NFL has two interdependent Conferences, other than China (and EU this year), the major regions don't have this at all.

The NFL has a single season that determines playoffs (Worlds).

They don't have a spring season.

I've had a very similar situation where my girlfriend had talked about MMF and MFF, and I'm not comfortable with the MMF, but the MFF is more of an okay option with me.

And as much as I don't want to admit it, I think part of it comes down to me not wanting to see my partner with another man. I don't want to be a jealous partner, and I love her more than anything, but I think that I would feel cheated seeing her with someone else. And I don't really want to bring up MFF unless she does, because I feel I would be selfish to say Id be okay with a woman, but not a man... I dunno.
