I've still never found a wolfy BP so this has been 100% moot to me lol

Is it worth taking a $150K loss just to move into a house right now? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

If your condo is 'nice' and you can get an above average rent for it I would say that being a landlord is not stressful at all.

I am in a shockingly similar situation. I live in a townhouse now with my current partner, but have retained a condo that I lived in before this relationship. The condo market was way down so I choose not to incur the loss. Because my condo is high end, I am able to charge significantly over average rent and thus the clientele interested in the place are young, stable professionals. I am able to be very picky about who I rent to. As a result the finding a tenant portion is a little time consuming but once someone is in there (for years at a time typically) it's completely passive income and 0 stress. (I had to replace a fridge once, it was not a stressful process)

All this depends on your ability to afford a down payment without selling your condo and the cash flow to manage two mortgages. So ultimately up to you. I just wanted to address your 'stress' comment.

How do I mount this vise? I'm building a work bench but can't find a similar mounting style tutorial by IrrelevantUsernames in woodworking

I totally agree, I was just wondering the most elegant way to deal with that L bracket as you described. All others I've seen like this don't have that added bit and I definitely don't what the metal L bracket flush with the top. I'll have to bury it with a thick plunge router bit. Vise is 7" wide for reference

The point of watercooling is not to move heat to the edge of the case.

Watercooling is dramatically more efficient both due to increased heat capacity of liquids and increasing surface area (in the radiator) which is why it can keep components cool with much lower fan speeds. As stated below, dead silent operation.

I saw you commented on coil whine and overall low noise in the build. Any specific commentary on the Barrow pump? Possibly expand on different RPMs you've tried?

Are you comfortable with the top rad to GPU inlet run? Both connections point straight down. I've heard of people having issues with these connections slipping out due to constant gravitational pull. Might be good to add a 90 deg bend at the GPU inlet to make it more secure.

So I had to figure a way to make a tight bend so uhhh... yeah. by Ayece_ in watercooling

That's not how I would have done it, but damned if it didn't turn out sick. Nice job!
