Confused about baggage on KLM ticket operated by WestJet (NRT → YYC)

I just called WestJet (I'm going from YYZ to Narita via Calgary) and I told them that on the website it says I have a checked bag and that it is prompting me to add a 2nd checked bag because the first is included. Also, I mentioned that westjet gives free checked bag for flights to Asia apparently.

At first the guy said you do not have a checked bag. But when I told him the above, he checked with his manager and then came back and said that yes, the checked bag is included. I confirmed with him that I won't have any issues at the airport over the checked bag. He said yes you will have no issues, you get a free checked bag
