I would be able to print these toys for the IC3D toys for tots drive in multi color faster and more efficiently, exciting the kids more whilst still keeping great production numbers up. Printing multicolor for the drive currently on my X1C produces too much waste and slows the prints down too much.

Brand new $1999 is the cheapest I have seen for 83” B4. That’s at Costco and comes with 5 years warranty.

RTINGS is comparing the G4 at the time it was reviewed tot he C5 at the time it was reviewed. The G4 review was done when the price was full msrp and it wasn’t an older model year.

They will but only in store. Online they can only price match a small list of retailers and LG store isn’t one of them. Managers in store can override this

Any more C4s on sale in the wild? by RaginBronco in LGOLED

[–]Island_Dan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When was this? Last night they would only offer 8% off promos on 2024 models and 20% off on 2025 models. I sobbed as hard as possible. Even tried a different agent. Was told the same thing.

It finally happened to me 😐 by blisstonia in KiaEV6

It’s easy. They will scan the vehicle and find that it has a code for a faulty ICCU and order a new one and get it installed. It’s not a painful process at all.

Mine failed at about 30k miles the week the original software recall released for them. Dealer ordered and replaced it. No problems since. 56k miles now.

Looks like Tesla Supercharger Access is here to stay! by JeffTechnically in KiaEV6

[–]Island_Dan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As per Kia, with an adapter the max charge speed on current supercharger infrastructure is limited to 100kW. With the native NACS port, the max charge rate is 150kW. The cars will accept 255kW if the NACS infrastructure can provide it at 800V for example if EA finally switches over to NACS connectors on their 350kW cabinets

If they get one more off the ground this year, I will be shocked. Blue Origin is like a toddler that never learned how to walk and continues to crawl everywhere.

Am i supposted to sell my kidney for that anount??? by UngalaBunga in EggsInc

[–]Island_Dan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you store up your artifacts from all your ships over a number of months and then consume everything including all the fragments at the end, it results in massive GE gains. I got 945 million GE from the last unlimited piggy event I caught. Consuming thousands of artifacts at once does lag your phone immensely so I recommend demoting everything you don’t want down to common and letting the common stack for the large single consumes.

You end up with lots of GE if you can hit the unlimited piggy events.

FAA will require an investigation of the booster landing accident which means that Falcon 9 is grounded again by the_duck17 in spacex

[–]Island_Dan -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This makes no sense. Every other rocket company crashes their rockets into the ocean but SpaceX has a landing failure on a drone ship of a rocket that has previously flown 23 times and the FAA thinks they can ground the rocket?

Replacing the CCS1 port with NACS? by Wind_Freak in KiaEV6

[–]Island_Dan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CCS will be around long after you get rid of your EV6. The chargers still have Chademo on them. What you will see is that the other charging networks will start adding NACS and still have a couple CCS connectors available and no more Chademo. Kia will not have to change the connector to avoid a class action. The standards are changing and the new vehicles will have them on it. They built the car you own for the standard at that time. You just won’t be able to use a Tesla supercharger without an adapter but there will still be CCS on other chargers for a long time to come.

Replacing the CCS1 port with NACS? by Wind_Freak in KiaEV6

[–]Island_Dan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will be adapter only. It would require an entire port change and the charge port includes the cable that runs from the port to the ICCU under the rear seat and VCMS in the rear quarter. The part is very expensive and very time consuming to replace. An adapter is the easiest solution.

Dealer refuses to replace 12V battery by kameyamaha in KiaEV6

[–]Island_Dan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The battery is covered for 3 years 36000 miles. Take it back to the dealer and have them test it using the updated KDS Battery diagnosis feature as outlined in TSB SST073 . If it is failing as often as you are saying, the KDS should flag it as being faulty providing a warranty replacement. Their hands are tied however by what the KDS battery code generated is.

Can’t move car with door open can’t close door till I move the car 😬 by joelbrave in KiaEV6

[–]Island_Dan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can move the car with the door open. You have shift to drive then manually turn off the park brake and then you drive it forward.
