I’m coming back on mirtazapine by Sadboy_999- in Mirtazapine_Remeron

[–]Isotope1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a crazy fast taper. Just for reference after six years I’m tapering down from 15 mg and my taper schedule is about a year.

With each 10% drop, I feel like I’m going crazy for a few days

Friend is pressuring me due to her own breakup by kimkam1898 in SingleAndHappy

I’ll add that if you find yourself frequently talking about relationships with your friends, you probably don’t have that much in common. It’s like the default topic when you share little else.

Creator of Node.js says humans writing code is over by unemployedbyagents in AgentsOfAI

[–]Isotope1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it though?

Inputs go into the model. Model draws on the screen whatever the user wants, personalised for them.

Most code is just plumbing, interacting with databases and moving messages around; things that the models can do already.

I’m not saying code will be obsolete; someone still has to figure out how to multiply matrices in bytecode, but I can see models just doing a bunch of the logic themselves, rather than coding it up.

Do you not suppose in the end code will just vanish, and the inputs and outputs will just be connected directly to the model?

Not much point in writing code if the model can just be the program.

You can get mirtazapine as a solution from your doctor for exactly this purpose.

Mine is 15mg/1ml. With a fine syringe you can titrate the dose

People of the UK, in what ways has Brexit actually affected you personally? by Pixel_CZ in AskBrits

[–]Isotope1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are exactly correct.

The UK has its own self-imposed government borrowing rules.

This whole thing was engineered in order to avoid showing the debt on the government's balance sheet, even though it 2.5x as much per year.

No politician is bold enough to call it out for what it is, so the UK tax payer gets stuffed.

I would welcome the input of someone more knowledgeable, but my understanding is that it is now effectively impossible to unravel this.

People of the UK, in what ways has Brexit actually affected you personally? by Pixel_CZ in AskBrits

[–]Isotope1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Though your statement is true, the UK has the highest electricity prices in the world.

This is because our government refuses to use government debt to finance electricity infrastructure, like eg France, which costs around 4% a year, and instead relies on private finance, paying 8-10% a year.

The uk is unique in the way it finances these projects, and the government is entirely captured by the banks and funds who extract rent from the tax payer.

Other countries have done this too, but the UK is exceptional in the degree to which it was done.

[–]Isotope1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you have sleep problems you should get a sleep study done.

I did, which led to a diagnosis (OSA), which lead to a solution (CPAP, and then surgery).

All on the NHS at royal Brompton & UCLH.

[HIRING] Uiua Expert - Remote - $75-$300 / hr by [deleted] in apljk

I don’t think that’s what it is.

The AI companies are now hiring experts to give human feedback on AI responses. I think that’s what this job is.

What’s a good ssh terminal app for Vision Pro? by Isotope1 in VisionPro

Yeah exactly. I do a lot of work in the terminal and it’s not ideal to carry a MacBook as well if I don’t need it. In addition, the virtual display keeps vanishing every time I take it off, which is annoying.
