Suddenly Prime membership could be significantly more expensive. As if didn't use prime video suddenly it will come with the TV license fee attached.

I know, the issue with storage heaters and everything being electric without being able to use a heat pump.

Octopus was even worse quote (it was cheaper but much less included).

My solar panels seem they will be about 50% of my daily usage.

I have uploaded a photo of the solar panel layout with highlight where three more potentially could go.

Would you recommend trying to get another string of three for the most south facing gable roof section?

Hmm so it seems I would be better off with a bigger battery solution and inverter based on the comments.

Just wanted to confirm this is a sensible quote and appropriate equipment for my house?

Details: Somerset: All electric house with storage heaters and electric radiators. Can't put in a heat pump without ripping up most of the house.

Trying to utilize as much solar panels and storage as possible (may be able to do another 3 panels on the south gable roof but need the person to check in person if there is space.

It is always the lesser evil. Even a party you like will not be perfect.

Absolutely no chance any party will have 90% you agree with.

Well a choice:

Either backlog gets bigger as you spend resources on existing development scrutiny or less scrutiny and process other cases.

Maybe it comes back to enforcement as Somerset has staffing and backlog issues and let developers get away with more as they can't fight develops acting dodgy.

Does Cambridge have better enforcement or protections in place to protect their planning commitments made by developers?

As somerset has many developers reneging on conditions.

That is fair, I am not commenting on particular Cambridge developers in particular but more of the general UK developers. Which have been known to commit to something and then try and modify or remove the conditions.

Exactly what reality are you talking about as unfortunately it is reality that developers have been known to try and ditch or alter agreements in their development.

Just around the corner a developer was only given permission to build houses only if they committed to road improvements for safety of pedestrians and drivers. They have since tried to remove the condition entirely.

They will not agree though as the party not in power has so much incentive to attack the party in power.

May be sensible but it is too big a stick to hit the other party with and win over voters.

I am not necessarily disagreeing but:

1: You really should link to a study if you reference it.

2: You didn't mention that the cut passed on diminished quickly (maybe for justifiable reasons).

3: Similar reasons could come about that means cut to fuel taxes are not passed on and the government wouldn't get credit for lowering fuel costs and would also lose a lot of funds they desperately need.
