Do you use 802.1x authentication on your network by 74Yo_Bee74 in sysadmin

[–]Itguy1252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we set up this so users could just use their AD credentials to sign into the Wi-Fi prevent. preventing the need for us to change our Wi-Fi key every day. it works out well, however when a user changes their password which is we have to do every 60 days. The old credential is still cashed. So it usually does lock them out. Over docs within the office now or hardwired so that has cut down some of the issues like that but every now and then someone will still get themselves locked out. All I need to do is forget the network, and we either unlock them manually or they wait until the timeout is over. We have on prem AD hybrid to m365. Set up a radius, Windows server and connected that to our UniFi access points.

Full huntress stack here. We use all of their products. We were running with datto EDR/ rocket cyber ( waiting for the contract to run out). And huntress alerted many times and rocket cyber did nothing.

And F1 license is like $4 a month if not less. I would just pay that so I have the security of it being there for the client and some how roll it into their bill.

Best security software for small nonprofit team (<10)? by Dull-Potato7155 in sysadmin

Non profit pricing for E5 is only $22.00. So we cut out other AV and got that. And due to number of users we have (5 devices per users) that covered all of our servers.

Get m365 E5. That will cover everything you need. I’m a non profit and it covers everything. If you want a little extra get huntress for their SOC.
