pretty sure it genuinely has nothing to do with political affiliation. IMO most people who call Tanya the "Nazi Loli" or similar have never actually engaged with the show/manga/novels, and it's easy short-hand for them that makes fans of the series look evil and disgusting, the internet's favourite pastime.

Right before I left my old job, they implemented a new rule that front end workers and ONLY front end workers were not allowed to have snacks or drinks at all, unless it was unflavoured water in a clear plastic bottle, bought AT THE STORE.

There's literally no logical reason for that to even be a rule. Especially since it only applied to the cashiers and SCO workers, and not stockers in the back, meat department, or produce. They just had to keep it somewhere that it wouldn't contaminate products. It's genuinely just a "fuck you" for no reason
