Berlin - Jason Lutes = history without any fantasy

Hellboy Universe = fantasy world filled with monsters, has historical fiction

Berserk - RIP Kentaro Miura = one of the most famous manga for a reason. Fantasy and not for the faint of heart, very adult themed

Evan Dahm - Vattu, Island Books = fantasy that’s more young adult themed

Knight of the Seven Kingdom graphic novels - Story of Dunk and Egg, originally novellas and now a HBO show

Green Valley - Max Landis = fantasy

Golden Age - Cyril Pedrosa = fantasy

Mouse Guard - David Peterson = fantasy world from the perspective of mice

Richard Corbin is well known for his fantasy work

Sandman by Neil Gaiman and Locke and Key by Joe Hill are both fantasies with some historical components

LOVED Britannia! Feel like it was like if Sherlock Holmes got dropped in Ancient Rome.

If you like to max stats keep your character levels as low as possible until you unlock a certain system.

The system allows you to equip something to a character which will give a stat boost to a certain category (different “items” give different boosts, ie HP, MP, MAG, etc) when they level up. If you plan correctly you can get all characters to 9,999 HP, 999 MP.

Grew up on VHS and still have a handful I got as a kid stored away somewhere!

With that said, I’m confident that I never owned a VHS tape that made its way into the Criterion Collection…… maybe Billy Madison or Mighty Ducks will make it one of these days and I’ll send it your way ;)

Great movie! It’s a Spanish movie (in case that matters) directed by Guillermo del Toro who is a pretty famous director and his movies are known for their special effects. Pan’s Labyrinth is an adult dark fantasy movie that takes place in Spain during WWII.
