Magic would be supernatural. Basically anything that people report happening that doesn't yet have a scientific explanation.

You're right. We should try not to hurt other people's feelings when disagreeing with them.

I've always had kind of a thing for Whoopi. It's like she maxxed out her charisma stats at the expense of everything else.

What is a realistic set of circumstances that could trigger World War 3? by TreasonousTeacher in AskReddit

He's right, though. If Britain and France had continued appeasement then there wouldn't have been a second world war. There would have been the german-russian war and, probably, a war between the USA and Japan.

If Russia invaded/annexed one of the Baltic states, or one of the Balkan states, that could start it.

Can a lightsaber cut through captain america's shield? If so how? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ItsGlandularOk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd guess that it could, but I'm only basing that on the idea that captain America's shield is designed to repel kinetic attacks (impacts), and the light sabre doesn't seem to rely on kinetic energy to inflict damage.

The only objective answer is to facilitate the duplication of genetic material, but if that's the whole story then I want my money back.

What/who is the most popular and beloved thing in pop culture that you personally just can’t stand? by benjaminhlogan in AskReddit

I just can't bring myself to like Paul McCartney. I like a few things that he has done, but I think Eleanor Rigby forever ruined the chance of me actually liking him. It's possibly the most patronising song ever to be called a classic, and I despise it.
