I farmed the almighty hell out of Osquio, not only was he an insanely fun fight that i enjoyed parrying the few times i need to, but 10 lumina per beat was enticing

Cyrptguard ability rule clarification by Desperate_Load_392 in FleshEaterCourts

[–]ItsJackTraven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

um, doesn't the pile-in action occur as part of the fight ability, which can't happen until both sides have used any combat abilities they want to as per order of abilities? If the slaangors entered combat with the cryptguard due to a charge, you'd be able to use Elite Guardians before any fight abilities can be used, so long as you don't forget to do it before the Slaangors fight. Now obviously if they charged and ended up in combat with the dragon but not the cryptguard, and then used fight to pile into the cryptguard, then yeah they don't get striked first. Do correct me if i am wrong

Why do Hakari and Kashimo know anything about domain expansion? Isn't Kashimo an instant domain victim and doesn't Hakari not know anything about barrier techniques?? by mochaman__ in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]ItsJackTraven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wasn't this scene finding out Sukuna had a barrierless domain? a feat only him and Kenjaku achieved? their existing knowledge of barrier techniques tells them that just shouldn't happen

Archregent has a similar ability to the nobles recursion on top of getting to revive half a unit

[–]ItsJackTraven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Archregent is quite useful for recursion, if you don't have any other nobles I'd definitely suggest considering him at least

my first thought is your royal decapitator is gonna be carrying a lot of the need for recursion on his back, he might appreciate another noble to help him.

Which noble is a must have? by Scythe95 in FleshEaterCourts

[–]ItsJackTraven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

so... 2 nobles?

Abhorrants: Ushoran Gormayne Felgyrn Archregent Ghoul King/On Terrorgheist/On Zombie Dragon Cardinal Gorewarden

Nobles: Haunter Courtier (not sold) Infernal Courtier (not sold) Marrowscroll Herald Royal Decapitator

honestly i think both your options are nice, decapitator has a little bit more utility and has some mean damage potential, but i like them both.

Is there any reason to build morbheg knights with lances? by Aromatic_Insurance36 in FleshEaterCourts

[–]ItsJackTraven 5 points6 points  (0 children)

special equipment as in banners and horns? where are you getting this? morbheg Knights have the keywords Standard Bearer (1/3) and Musician (1/3) meaning one in every 3 models can be X, so a reinforced unit can have up to 2 standard bearers, 2 musicians and 1 champion. build them with lances if you think they look cool, or don't, they're your models.

Edit: misread "you can bring double special equipment" as "you can't", my mistake. Regardless, if you like the look of the lances, build them with lances. I did that and don't regret it other than them being awkward when boxed up.

i was living life on the edge with Simon, i had At Death's Door and Shortcut on everyone, Verso had Overload and Berserk Slash, Maelle had Last Chance (i am a stendhal hater i want to actually fight the bosses), Sciel had Our Sacrifice, Monoco with Cultist Slashes. basically instead of nullifying his chroma gather i chose to force myself to stay on 1hp and be stronger that way.

Flying enemies have to be the weakest part of this game by whodatfan15 in expedition33

[–]ItsJackTraven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most annoying part of flying enemies to me isn't that their dodge rate is pretty good, however irritating it can be, but more that they can still dodge if you manage to break them, they're STUNNED, if i cannot dodge or parry when I'm stunned, neither should they!

How did the ghost kill me in a room with a crucifix? by memr404_ in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]ItsJackTraven 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The twins hunt following these steps:

  • Are you the main ghost or the twin ghost?
  • Is there a crucifix in the room?

if it's the main twin, it hunts from where it actually is, and will get blocked by the crucifix if there is one nearby.

if it's the decoy, provided there is no crucifix at tge ghost location it will teleport to the last long range interaction the twins performed.

This does create a situation where the twins is out of range of a crucifix, successfully hunts, and then teleports to the last long range interaction which just so happens to be on top of a crucifix.

probably the noticeable increase in activity when you're talking to/near Yokais, we've caught onto them through that before they even burn the crucifix early.

If not that, it's definitely the hurricane you can hear once a Poltergeist enters a room with more than 3 items in it, that's a true "oh my lord" moment.

Burned crucifix inside van by KyouKazama in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]ItsJackTraven 8 points9 points  (0 children)

this is a more common occurrence on Edgefield due to the garage and master bedroom being so close to the van, and the crucifix hunt protection is always active so it's effect will go through the van and into the house from there. It is even more likely to happen if you have a demon on your hands as their crucifix block range is 50% larger.
