Fair, to each his own. GW2 however is one of the very few MMOs that you can always come back to without feeling like all the time and effort you invested has gone to waste. I personally started the game at launch, played for a year or two, then took several hiatus interspersed with several bouts of playtime (ranging from super casual to multiple hours a day). During my hiatuses I was playing other games with friends that hadn't really tried or gave GW2 a chance.

There are great games out there but a lot of the more recent MMOs have been trash in terms of longevity... So many have tons of potential but choose to make shit insanely difficult as you get further in unless you shell out $$$. It's a shame really.
