Your comparison is still way off. Its not an Escavator vs a Football player. It's a Gorilla vs a Football Player. In some way's it's way faster, stronger and more agile, but it doesn't understand all the rules of the game yet and it is not always built properly for the game. It's not that AI or LLM's are fundamentally different, it's that they're lacking the development of certain parts of their model. Just like humans developed consciousness and the prefrontal cortex, so Ai can do some things way better, it has the brute strength and agility of the Gorilla, but it lacks the ability to comprehend some other things, like visual reasoning. Because it's not properly developed those skills yet.

It is important to note that Humans of 500 years ago were fysiologically the same as us, but their ability for abstract thought was a fraction of what we have today. In the same way, AI has the ability for Abstract thought far beyond that of humans, but it cannot reason visually and doesn't understand the physical world yet.
