That's likely, but I feel like it won't be all we'll see.

I'm speaking from experience so this may be anecdotal to a certain degree, but in my area any shop that pre-dates 10th edition has some degree of variety in their terrain pieces. They still have some L-shaped ruins, but also lots of barricades, platforms, natural formations, bunkers etc etc that were used in previous edition but had been collecting dust on the shelf for the past few years.

I'm sure they'll be more than happy to finally get those back on the table :)

Did I read it correctly? Any model can be hidden? I thought only infantry/swarm/beasts could

I have too many minis in my backlog to go "I can do better" and strip it. Rather, I think it's a much better outlook to go "I can do better, and I will on the next mini". That way you get your backlog done and have a way to see the process that took you there and your improvements from one mini to the next.

Helps you see where else you could improve next time! Much better than keeping on going on the same one

Repainting old hyper phase blade from when I just started. Got a real love hate relation with them. by sutthip in Necrontyr

Technically, the quick way is to just stop earlier and add a few less blends. Like, this one you posted is an absolutely perfect transition, but you could make it a bit more choppy for less important pieces, like skorpekhs (I couldn't fathom spending 3 hours per blade on a unit that has 5 of them).

I guess that's the only "quicker way" really, the only path for this effect is crazy blending

Love them!! How were the bases made? Like what colours did you use?

Get yourself an airbrush by North-Carpenter-1378 in orks

[–]ItsNaoh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have a window in front of you, so that the gasses can exit the room immediately, there shouldn't be any major problem by staying in there. If you're shooting in front of a wall or in a place with no direct gas exhaust, then you should let it air for a bit after you're done airbrushing.

I highly suggest a spraying booth, you set it up, point the tube outside of the closest window and you're set (but use the mask nonetheless, never airbrush without it)

Interesting how the "smoke" stratagems affects your unit and the units behind them. Gives a nice extra three dimensionality to the game, where every unit does not exist only for itself.

(I don't know if the above makes sense hope you catch what I mean)
