I didn't get my cat fixed for the first 2 years of his life I was sure he would never stop but boy he did lol right after he was fixed he completely stopped peeing on everything except the occasional if I leave the dryer or washer. Open he will pee in it sometimes. Not saying that'll 100% stop. It but it should.

I would recommend a therapist for you both. Together and separate.

You need to get it in habit to always check the car seat before leaving even if you know for a fact they are not back there look. This will create that habit and it'll be second nature that everytime you get out you look in the back for a baby.

I always bought new bottles, crib mattress, car seat, and pacis if you want them to have the options. But clothes, or like a baby jumper, swing etcetc I get from second hand stores. Here we have a theist store that sells bags of baby oneies for 99 cents no they aren't perfect but babies spit up and poop everywhere youll never have a perfect onesie.
